hello welcome to this example of a saved search within NetSuite to begin I'm going two reports save searches all save searches new save searches gives us the ability to do a database query on any of the data within NetSuite here we're looking at a list of all of the available tables to complete the save search on for this example I'm going to create a saved search that will show all of the sales orders that are expected to ship this week so I'm going to base this Save Search on the transaction table next I can give this save search a name I'm going to call this expected shipments this week then I'm going to market public so other NetSuite users can view this save search and I'm also going to make it available as a dashboard view next we can begin setting our criteria and results the criteria tab allows us to set filters to narrow down our data the first filter I'm going to set is where the type of transaction is equal to sales order next I can set an additional filter for mainline mainline is the concept within NetSuite of header and line details by default both header and lines show on every save search for this example I want it to ignore the main line and just show the item details so I'm going to select no and hit set the next filter that I'm going to set is ship date so I am only looking for transactions where the ship dates is within this week I can hit set and I've set three simple filters or criteria for this save search next we can look at the results tab under under results we have a default set of fields that are displaying on this Save Search I can do things like click on collection notes and hit remove I don't want that as a column on this read on this Save Search and then I could also hit the drop down arrow and add additional fields that will show in the results of this Save Search the first additional field I'm going to add is item that will show us the item number on the sales order the next additional field I'm going to add is ship date so since we're filtering on ship date it's also nice to have that as a column in our results and then lastly I'm going to add the item description as a column this will demonstrate how additional tables are linked into the save search notice when I get to the bottom here of my field listing I'm seeing things that have three dots on the end those are the additional tables that are automatically linked into the transaction table so under item fields if I select that you'll see that I have all of the fields that are available in the item table within NetSuite so if I come down to the DS...
