all right guys when it comes to this next round of stimulus negotiations looks like the senate has passed to move forward with the next step when it comes to this next round of stimulus yet when it comes to the final vote the republican party has decided to stall it as long as possible therefore we'll discuss how it's going to impact how soon you receive your stimulus payments as well as we'll discuss all 50 states when it comes to you receiving rental relief the money is still here for you guys we're going to discuss that and more here on mostly money [Music] well my name is andre and loved ones let's get started the vote went out yesterday in the senate so the bill could move forward for its final vote with kamala harris vice president bringing in a final tie breaking vote however now we have the final vote that's coming up and it could have taken place today back to washington now for where the stimulus payments are and they rather are in the spotlight president biden and moderate democrats have agreed to a plan that will limit eligibility for direct relief checks so let's check in with nancy cordes who is at the white house following the very latest on the relief bill um of course this is sort of the the top priority for many people when are they going to see those checks in their bank account nancy we know that democrats are hoping to pass this bill before the extra unemployment supplement benefits they run out that happens in 10 days what are the steps the next steps for this bill uh when it comes to the senate so in the senate they are taking their first procedural vote on this bill today at some point and marie we don't know exactly when but that will kick off 20 hours of debate so that takes us at least into tomorrow and then republicans are vowing to drag the process out as long as they can because we go into this process where either side can offer as many amendments as they want and so we don't know if that means 70 amendments 100 amendments 200 amendments republicans are not eager to see this process wrapped up especially because they know that at the end of the day democrats probably do have the 50 votes that they need to pass this thing and so it's unclear right now whether that amendment process is going to drag through the weekend but we do anticipate that this bill will likely pass at the end of the day then it has to go back to the house because there are big significant differences between the house bill and the senate bill it has to get passed again by the house and then it would go to the president's desk for his signatures even though the republicans in the senate have decided to have the whole 600 plus page bill read out loud which would take on average 12 hours to be completed and even though they're trying to add hundreds and hundreds of amendments into this bill it's still a time limit of 20 hours in which they are allowed to do this and when it's all said and done the votes will be cast this weekend and the house of representatives will have the new package to vote on and pass starting early next week but before all that starts hey we still got stateside citywide benefits rental relief benefits still here for you guys to take advantage of so let's get started when it comes to the last 10 states we've already talked about 40 states the links for each one of them are in the description if you checked them and they're all working well but the state that we're headed to right now is the state of tennessee and as you can see right here they just said click right here for rental relief application portal and you click there and what will happen is that it will take you directly to where you need to go to to fill out and register for the state of tennessee to be able to start the application process next state that we're headed to right now is the state of let's take a quick look the state of texas and in texas they are rental relief program right here uh how you can apply it gives you information this is february 22nd when they on this last update that they placed and it gives you step-by-step information help to apply started on february 15th so you'll be able to complete that process immediately for the state of texas and here are the links and the phone number for the state of texas now realize this is important guys the state of texas is saying that they are starting to accept applications uh until before april 8th next state we're going to is utah and utah has a program that's available and walk you step by step and there's their applications open on march 15th in the state of utah so if you're there realize on the 15th you can start receiving monies that'll help you with your back rent up to 12 months the next state that we're headed to is vermont and vermont is basically saying also that there will be a new emergency rental assistance for vermont in 2020 it will be able to pay your back rent but vermont says that the new program will be available by april so they didn't give a particular date next day we're going to is virginia and virginia also has information on where to apply what steps need to be taken questions and answers if the landlord is applying or even if you're applying and then it gives you different portals that you can take advantage of take advantage of these links guys you don't want to be left behind with all that money that you would owe for back rent or for future rent if you don't owe any back rent and you just want to use this money for the future take advantage of it it could get to you as soon as possible but if you don't apply you don't receive next state we're headed to is washington state the state of washington and they have their programs available as well so all these states have programs available what i like about what washington did they broke it down in cities and in counties so you have phone numbers you have uh links that you can take advantage of next state that we're headed to is washington dc and dc is letting you know before you begin the application process please answer the questions a few questions to make sure that you're eligible so they walk you through that process first and then if you're eligible in washington dc they allow you to continue on to apply this next thing that we're headed to is wisconsin and notice that this relief package still falls up under the cares act um brother umbrella or title so realize guys if you notice that a lot of these programs are saying cares act because of under president trump they were technically still a part of the cares act even though he passed two stimulus packages and right here wisconsin has their emergency relief for rental assistance that a person can take advantage of and other programs are available other emergency and food assistance and medical assistance job access for loans so these are available for you right now you don't have to wait until the biting stimulus plan passes but you can take advantage of these right now and the last and final state that we're going to be headed to is wyoming in wyoming their emergency rental and utility relief application is right here that you
