this tutorial will explain how you can use our onboard analytics to find out when your clients open the documents and see how much time they spend on each page of the documents for a more efficient follow up to help you close deals faster let's get started first you'll get instant notifications to your inbox when your clients open your documents post comments and complete them to get a more in-depth view log into your pandadoc account to see what's happening with the documents you are working on on the dashboard you have a timeline of all actions that have taken place with the documents you have sent from here you can go directly to any document by clicking on its name or go to documents tab to see the list of them here you can see the list of documents their status and recipients let's look at this NDA that was signed and completed a day ago on the right-hand sidebar you see the detailed timeline of this particular document including all the comments posted by sender and signer now let's look at a graphic design proposal which has not been completed a game on the sidebar we see a complete timeline of the document I see that both recipients viewed it which is great next let's go to the analytics tab to look at in document analytics what we see here is that Oliver Tobias the signer has viewed the document two times beside that we can see exactly how much time he spent within each page spending most of his time focusing on the pricing section we can see the same information for the second recipient you if we want we can post a comment for the recipient directly from the timeline tab so they'll get notifications sent to their email INBOX and this is how it works now go and send a document via pandadoc to know what your clients thinking pandadoc go paperless close deals faster
