kick off then we've got an exciting webinar for you today very good all right check my screen hopefully you can all hear me okay and see my screen while we wait for everyone to join just a couple of housekeeping so this webinar today is planned for 45 minutes and we do have a very tight schedule what that means is that we won't have much time for q a at all so if you can put your questions in the question section which is in the panel on the right and what we will do is we can we will collect everyone's questions and then we'll respond to those um after the webinar with the recording of the webinar as well so do feel free to pop in those questions in the question sections as we go through today's webinar wonderful all right well i'm gonna get started now um so i'm gail um i've got mike and joseph with me today and i'm gonna take you through just a few slides um to start with covering who secured signing is tell you more about our remote online notarization platform how you can run your own notary business with secured signing i'll briefly touch on our pricing model which is really flexible and competitive and then we will spend most of the time through a demonstration of our wrong software which mike and joseph will be doing thank you so who are we secured signing so we're a global cloud digital signing and an online forms platform we have been around since 2010 so quite a while and over the years we've built a really comprehensive platform full of different functions and features for signing documents digitally and we've expanded that to allow for notarization of documents online and what we've built more recently is all the features that you need to perform remote online notarization including video conferencing technology in one system so what it means for you is that you only need one product to complete your notarization and to be compliant with the requirements within your states which as you know vary from state to state so you need to be comfortable with that um we um developed this final you know video conferencing and additional technology to respond to the rapid adoption of ron um following the covert pandemic so what is included within the secured signing remote online notarization product so it is feature rich and very robust with lots of the functionality that you need um to be compliant so i'm just going to quickly read this out so we've got id verification knowledge based authentication we also have digital notary stamps or sales we include a digital signature certificate now this can be either provided by us out of the box or you can bring your own certificate again it depends on the requirements within your state we include an electronic notary journal for free we have a live video signing sessions which is you know the audio and visual part that you need to record as part of a rom session we of course have bread and butter which is the secured document signing and we also have facial recognition and matching as part of the id verification so what our goal was with our platform was to give you the power to run your own notary business so we're not a marketplace or a middleman you can continue to running your independent business as you were before but in an online digital way so what that means is that you have all the tools that you need in one wrong solution you can deal with your customers directly so you can engage with them you don't need a third party or a marketplace as i said um in terms of our pricing model we follow what we call a pay-as-you-go model there are no large monthly demonstration of our ron platform yeah now you can see my screen um hi guys thank you for joining us for the webinar and to show your secure signing in action and i'm going to show you the um how to set up a a run session with secure signing and we actually going to conduct a run session and joseph is here to help me to to be the client or the requester and is going to to sign and to join the run session so first of all you need to open a account in secured signing so you can go to e-notary pricing plan select the plans that suit for you and you click buy now and it's actually open account for you and you need to enter your credit card part of the of the process so once you have account with secure timing you able to login to secure timing platform and then the first step the system will take you is for your account setting to do the notary or run setting so it will take you through the process but i already register so i will take you to the settings so it's under my my account my setting notary and i will go through the setting what you need to do so first of all about the the pricing when you enable notary you you need to buy secure time and credit and as gal said we we have allocated credit so if you set up a wrong session that's going to cost you 10 dollars and you did only kba or id verification and the session never happened so the the remain cost will re reallocated or return back to your credit balance once the signing process expired so it's a very honest and and fair uh pricing structure that you pay for what you used and if you didn't used you get it back to your credit balance you can have when you buy the credit balance you can have out a top-up so you never under credit and always the system how to top up your your credit balance in secure time so the first step you need to do is to upload your notary seal not a reseal you can purchase from nna or other um providers and then you can upload your seal electronic sale to secure signing you need to enter your commission id commission expiry date state and county and and all this related to your um certificate you get from your circus of state and once the commission expired you actually cannot sign with with secure signing so you need to be up to date also you can you need to up upload or capture your graphical signature in order to to not rise with a graphical signature as well not just the stamp once you did that the next step is the enable the run by the way all that done for you is a default setting and you can change it if you think it's not suitable for you so you need to enable a video signing the recording will be in us we save in the recording in us you can make a decision if you want us to keep a recording for you for archiving or you can download the recording from secure timing and saved it in your cloud storage or local disk if you have at your own or at your office um we are keeping the recording for seven days if you are not downloading that on time so you need to download after the meeting or day after the meeting in order to be safe um once this done we have extra setting and the extra setting by default the notary send the sign the not right document to the client however some notaries wants to secure signing to send this document to the client and the reason for that some notary wants to collect the payment from the client and then once the payment done you you send it not right document to the client as well we have the kba and id verification so you set up that in id verification we have extra extra step or extra function that you can do data matching so for example you're expecting to see david first name in the id but the david is using different id will fix id to pass the id verification so you can make a decision if if it's not david it's a victoria so you want to stop or continue the process because the id id is a valid id but it's not the person you're expecting to see in the run meeting or in the meeting or also we have a face recognition or so or face matching so you can set if if the picture of the person or image of the person is meeting of or match to the id so you can make a decision if you want to continue the meeting or not by default is no match and it's all continue so you can make your decision after you have an experience with the system if you want to have this um in the um in your setting in the also in the in the sign document or not right document we have two links that you can add and by default they are not enabled so you can add the link to to the document to have access to the video in case you're using security and in archiving so it's much easier or you can have a link to access a proof of identity for the person did id verification with secure signing both of them disabled so you if you want you can add these links to the to the document don't forget to do save every time you are changing any any setting in order to take effect many states required that you need to use a federal bridge digital certificate or x510 now x509 certificate there are few providers and one of them we partner is a item trust you can buy the certificate from eid and trust direct or through nna website and once you have this ident trust certificate is actually your digital identity in in the digital world and many states secretary of state prefer to use x509 certificate for a authorized supplier like identrtrust or so you can buy your own certificate you you control the certificate it's your certificate you can buy for one month for one year or two years or three years once you have it you can upload the certificate to secure time or you can run remotely with the small app or plugin in your in your desktop the remotely is actually the certificate always stay in your in your premises it's never leave your promises um it's a bit slow because it's over the internet upload the certificate give you option that you can use any device or any computer you don't you don't need to be always with the computer with that you have the certificate installed in in your one computer one device so it's better flexibility pay attention that the digital id issued to you by identrus based on your email address and names so first name last name middle name so when you open secure sign in account please be sure you're opening with the same email address your certificate as and the same name and don't forget the middle name so it's very important that you have your middle name as well in your certificate so it's you have same uh digital id in the system so once this done and you save i'm not going to do that now but when you're done you're ready to go and in order to start the process you need to go to my document so my document is where you actually start in the process and now we we start to set up a run session or prepare the wrong session you click on the notary button and notary button is it takes you through the step of five steps to prepare the document from the tourism first of all you need to make a decision it's one single document process or multiple document so let's do a simple one with one document you select the document from your cloud storage or from your local disk or local drive and i've taken one called nda and i select that i'm happy with that and i press next now i need to set up the run to schedule the run meeting so i select the day and i select now what identity proofing and conventional analysis i'm going to do so if it's kba and id verification i have a personal knowledge so i don't need both of them or i know someone that can be the witness for me and these two guys oh sorry the the client doesn't need to to do id and kba so you can have a witness but most likely it's going to be kbnid and then you set up the venue where the notary act is going to happen so you set up the account california santa barbara stay but maybe you're in california and you're going to do that in san francisco a different city or different so you need to change the the county that you're going to to take effect and you press next now you can invite the person you want to um to your the client you want to invite the client to not write so i'm going to use raymond raymond in this case will be joseph and you can have one client or you can have as many as you want um and you can have a witness you can have a witness and when you have a witness you need to say the witness is going to witnessing for for raymond and we remove that make it very simple um now the the notary who is the notary and the notary is a um me but sometimes you can have a group of notaries or you have more than one notary in the account you can select which notary you want to use now when when now it's the the electronic journal so the notary journal you select which type of uh notarization you want to do you can select multiple you can have others you set up the fee for the notification and you can have the title you can change the title um of the document you want to use and you press start now you actually what we are doing now is actually tagging the document we are tagging the document we preparing the document for for signing for signature so you add the signature so now it's raymond so i need to add raymond raymond is going to sign here and and this is the name raymond you can resize the signature and you said this is the full signature with date and name our signature include date and name if you want um or if it doesn't you can remove that and you make it at a default so all the signature blocks you add in will be only the name but we leave it here you can add form field in case you need to fill forms or to add some some extra item or extra fields so this is the text box and it is going to be for example the full name of the person and you can make it because we know the full name you can make it required and read only so the client cannot change the full name because you know the full name you can also sometimes need to have a date so you select date pickers or you can have a text date and you say this is the date should be and this should be the date the sign in date and you select that and you have the date here but to make it very simple here um we can remove this field and just make it very simple um the notary need to sign here so you have add notary signature add notary stamp it should be here and i need to have add notary signature as well so it should be maybe here and i can resize i can resize the stamp as well and the notary stamp sorry the notary signature maybe i want to have the name of the person of the notary as well part of the of the signature block raymond need to sign letter we are doing a long signing or maybe so raymond need to sign on page one like click here page one and it needs to sign on page one i can resize the signature this is initial signature i don't need the name and the date just the initial signature and these signatures should be on every page initially every page so i can select page selection in page one and two so if i go page two it's already there and it make it simple for you to prepare document sign it for sign in process so you can also move the signature on page two to different place or position the signature in the right place in page two and page one is different place as well so it make it simple for you to to tag the document and to make it ready to go also they not really need to stamp in page one as well but you can resize the signa the stamp to fit the room and you make it like that and you press next so if you remember we have page one page two and page three and i can press now next and next is actually confirm the invitation workflow it's the way you can check you did everything correct this is the sign in due date all the signing process should be finished by november by this date and this is the date you want to um um to schedule the meeting this is the meeting scheduler however you can you can start the meeting at any time this is just for convenience you can start anytime before or after and but this is just helping you to set up the time with your client and schedule appointment with your client um you as you can see the authentication or is a kba plus id verification and you have no match we don't want to use any image in the process you can have this is the notary and the notary us the the the video signing or the wrong signing you can also have a email template you can have email or you can have a personal message um you can tell him please call me or you can have your any personal message you want to add or use the email template you can brand the emails with your logo and your colors and make it nice you can press next and this is an another step another step to check you you can press next if you made any mistake in the in the venue you can fix it here if you want to change the fee or the type of notarization if you're happy with that all good and you press um send in order to send the document out for signature and i got for my document now the the document moved to in progress is actually ready to go and and this document i just sent now is in in progress this the status is zero of two to sign no it's not signed yet but as you can see we already um starting to collect the information so no id verification yet but the journal already already started to build up so we know which type of notarization is going to be what the feed so all the data data we already entered is here and and the journal also give you the status of the of this of the process so if it was already id verification or kba if it's pass or fail you have this um information here so the journal is built during the process and you have access to this journal from in progress so now we're actually sending the docum the invitation out and and the client receive email invitation the first step it needs to do is there to do id verification and uh sorry kba and id verification so now i pass it to joseph and joseph will show us um what uh what looks like in in in the client computer or client view so joseph receive email invitation and email annotation as a passcode you can have this passcode by sms but you click on the link and you need to enter his detail in now first you need to enter the passcode to access the document eight five two two it's random number it's very secure you can't do it more than five times so now is the kba just explained about that you need to enter your last four digit on the kba sorry on this last four digits on your ssl on social security number you need to have your full name if you have a middle name with missing you can add your middle name it's not mandatory and then you need to enter your address once you get everything correct um you can press submit and we are sending this out to our um kba provider or q a and you get five questions in the first set you have two minutes to answer this question if you fail if you answer at least four correct you pass if you answer three correct you get another set of question of two questions and you need to answer at least one correct if you failed to answer your q question correct correct you get another chance with 24 hours you can't do it again um you can do it again within 24 hours you can click on the link and do it again after 24 hours you have three attempts to do that um the notary same notary cannot invite you again to to to do kba and in the kba on sales you know you have answer with for example one none of the above is correct it should be the the correct answer so it's very important to to to select this this answer some time when you have it so now it is a test environment so all the answer is the last one so just doing that now and as you can see we have the score pass if there is if the person failed um the notary will receive email and email notification and the person which person failed and what the score was um and you know what happened and you press next and now it takes you to id verification joseph is using a a desktop and id verification most best is to do it on your mobile so if you're using a desktop we're connecting your desktop to your mobile so you can send text message to your mobile um a phone so he's going to enter his mobile phone you need to select the country by default it will be usa but we support the international fund as well so you can have um any any telephone number and so you'll receive the sms and as you can see we're creating a session between between the desktop and and the and a mobile device and it needs to enter this session in case by mistake joseph send it to wrong mobile number by the way you have option to resend this text message you don't have one one chance you have two chances there or two attempts and if you failed into attempt we don't want to send so many sms it costs money so um we provide in a link and there and the client can enter the link on his mobile phone so now we we taking through the pro process to capture your id card we support in more than 5000 ids even for in passport and a foreign driver license so you can use a the driver license or passport and you can you can do the id so you click on capture id and we now it needs to allows us to access the camera and you position the position there id and capture the id um and then now you need to capture the back of the id because it's a driver license we know we need the back image of the id and we analysis that and now we're asking him to take a to take a selfie image so it's taking a selfie image and we're also checking the liveness of the of the person um if it's a it's live image or or um you know if it's a live person or an image so you you get a assurance the person who is actually accessing the meeting is past the id verification sometimes the the lighting and the and the room is not good enough for a very good quality picture so we tell you to try again and try again so the client will try again until you get a very good quality um it's working on ios um and android in android we recommend to use chrome and if you are not using chrome we are redirected to user chrome and because it's better um a good better experience for the user and now is actually press next and he is going to join to the meeting so he can't join to the meeting because i need to join to the meeting first as the notary so so the the client can do the id verification before the meeting and he can wait for the notary to to join to the meeting so before you join to the meeting you can run um to be sure it's okay you go in progress and you refresh the page that's what i need to do and i you can click here on the notary um mike you just need to take your screen sharing back yes sorry about that you can see my screen thank you yes so before you start the meeting you want to be sure that the your client passed everything so you can come to the in progress and you find the document and you can click on the on the journal and you can see it pass and which driver license to use also you can have an id verification here so you can you can look at that before the meeting started and you see this is the this is joseph and this is we're going to expect to see in the meeting so now i'm 100 that we are on the right track i can start the meeting so i need to i'm clicking on the email invitation i got as in the notary and i click here to join to the meeting so i see i we have a test that you can test that you are using the right camera the right speaker and the right microphone you can test it and you start the meeting when you click start the meeting we actually charging you for starting them for start this meeting so you need to share your screen and i share my screen this is for the recording and we auto recording the session as you can see auto recording the sound mic is just still can't hear you i can't hear mike can you hear me now no yes yes yeah just talk again can you hear me okay yes all right sorry about this technical issue i'm trying to use a same computer so so you can start the meeting from here to invite the people to sign you can do id visual check to be sure that joseph is in the meeting and is the right so you get this information joseph cannot see that only you can see that and joseph is doing now um a real um [Music] is doing now a real id so we can compare the id with the real id so you can have that in in the meeting so you have a extra id verification a visual id so once you're ready for signing you can click on that and i think we have some you click on that and you allow joseph to uh to sign so i don't think we we pop again to joseph but it's joseph is going to sign and and we can see what joseph is doing and joseph if you can sign without sharing the screen so joseph now is share your screen i don't give you to be a presenter so joseph share his screen and we now can see joseph's screen and e select just a minute don't sign please and as you can as you can scroll up and down this is joseph's screen um and you can see the signature is already signature block already waiting for him it just click on the sign and and he can click to sign by the way the notary can also add some fields before joseph sign you can add some form field from the wrong meeting and this is the function we have in in the in the product as well so now joseph can sign click on sign please and joseph is actually capturing is is he captured his graphical signature you can use few options you use you made the decision to use the fund the script and you can um sign this ad like that and click to sign the system take you to the next step and and now the notary need to sign so it gives you the control it takes the control back by the way we have here we have here a sync all to here we have another function that because joseph even we are screen shares the screen joseph can scroll to to another page but you want to talk now with uh with your client or or participant with close number one to sync all to here so you have control and all participant screen move to close number one and also it's very important to link the video to the document because you're using x509 certificate you seal the document with your signature any changes to the content of the document your signature become invalid and because of that we are adding a video id to the to the to the video so when you watch the video you always see the video id so you have a direct link between the document you notarize and the document and the video you're watching so it's actually a very good connected connection a link between the document and the and the video it it's actually extra security level for that so now i'm ready to to sign as a notary so all this function is a button is to manage the the run meeting so you can at you can start manage designer you can pause recording you can leave the meeting id visual check or you mute your microphone you can stop recording if you want and now i'm ready to sign so i click here i'm enabling the notary to sign the notary sign last all the time and that you can see we have this button sign i click here to stamp and it stamp and it takes me to the next one and the last one and then i need to click here and as you can see this is the name of the notary the system tell you you're done you're okay you're now aba you're able now to um end your meeting when you end the meeting you end the meeting we actually um exiting for this page and the same as a as the client exit from this page and the client the notary can download and view the document from here but the client cannot do that because the setup was like that the document moved to a sign folder move to assign folder and as you can see this is the nda and raymond and its sign so the recording takes some this is the video signing so this the raymond is joseph um and we can look at the at the um at the not read it's still built because we are still need to have the recording with the location of the recording because we are still building the recording now we create in the video we need to process the video it takes about 10 minutes um but as you can see you have the date the time the address the id verification the venue where the venue was the document id you can export this to a pdf or excel and and make it ready to go for you um you can also watch the video but it's not ready as i said um and you can you can um run run id verification as well if you want you can export the id verification to pdf so you can export that to a pdf and you can print and save it in your in your system if you want um about the notary we have another tool that in you can run reports you can run a lot of report in our system but if you run a notary report so it's the last one so you can run the report of all the notarization you did in november so you can select which one today yesterday whatever and you can have report in one page and you can export to pdf for excel um for that um yeah this is more or less our system and we are listening to notaries and the requirement in the market we also listen into uh secretary of state they have in some state have a special requirement so we need to implement and we add into our system um i would like to thank you to thank everybody that give us a feedback about our system and we improve our
