platform you plan on using every state and platform can have different requirements number two an electronic signature just like you sign physical documents with a pen you will need to sign digital documents with your digital signature this won't be you actually signing each digital document it's as simple as having a jpeg or a png version of your signature and adding it to each document needing to be signed and some run platforms provide you with a signature if not this is also something you can make yourself for free comment down below if you'd like to know how again you'll want to check the requirements of the wrong platform you plan on using number three a digital certificate this is probably the most confusing out of all the wrong supplies you need a digital certificate provides security for digital documents like the ones people need notarized and it is tamper evident like the little seals on top of some food packaging that are really hard to get off and if someone were to tamper with it you'd be able to tell the same goes with digital certificates if someone were to tamper with it you would be able to tell and the document would not be valid anymore a digital certificate is invisible it's just an encryption file that you add to documents you're notarizing to keep all the information safe and valid just like your notary stamp is customized and linked to you so is your digital certificate most rom platforms require a digital certificate as well as being required in most states digital certificates are issued by a certificate authority also known as a ca that's well trusted like ident trust i'll leave a link to them in the description below number three you'll need a ron platform rom platforms are websites you can perform notorious acts they use audio visual technology and have security features to keep everyone's information safe and most platforms provide a free electronic journal so make sure to sign up with a platform that does and since we're on the quick topic of a journal it's always best practice to still physically write down each remote online tutorial act you perform this will keep you safe there's some run platforms that provide a free electronic signature and there's some that provide a free digital stamp and there's even some that provide a free digital certificate i will definitely be doing a video in the near future about with a built-in webcam or with a webcam you can attach although your clients can use their cell phone or tablet to sign their documents you need to have access to a computer webcam and microphone your computer must be able to support two-way audio visual communication to function with ron technology platforms number seven internet you need good internet connection so your ron sessions are not glitchy and the bonus supplies you should get number one a business email i highly recommend creating a separate email from your personal email this way you'll be able to keep all your notary works separated and organized i highly suggest getting gmail gmail integrates with many websites and apps and has lots of great features like the second bonus supply you should get yourself being able to
