hello in this video i'm going to show you how to sign the digital permission slip it's pretty easy but it's not always really obvious and there are some hidden traps so the first trap is is when you open it up if it's open in a browser tab like this in chrome you will not be able to sign it you could try but you can nothing nothing happens nothing you can't do anything so you're going to click to click download and when you do it'll download over here but don't just click it because if you just click it you're just going to go right back to another browser tab you're right back where you started so instead we're going to click on the arrow and you can either do open with system viewer or you can do show and folder and then click on the file once it opens we're going to go ahead and try the openlease system viewer because it'll automatically notice that your system viewer is um adobe acrobat now if you don't have adobe acrobat and it's not opening let me know and i will help you out it's all free nothing needs to cost you any money for this uh but just let me know if you have any problems so once it's open in adobe not chrome then here this is all print you can fill this in for your parent like that's not cheating just writing the name your number uh parent's name parent's number just type it in just click and type away scroll down here's the overview here's the things you're agreeing to the zero tolerance policy for bad behavior uh then you the student are gonna sign this so i'm clicking the box but don't type your name go up here see this little pen thing right there and you're gonna click on that right right here click on it now i've already added a signature i want to delete it because it's going to look like this for you most likely so then you're going to add signature and click on draw because it needs to be your handwriting even if it's ugly and it's okay if it's ugly right i'm going to do mine right here joseph veros this is going to be the oh that came out actually fairly good but don't be a perfectionist as long as you it's good click apply to save it and then see now your mouse is your name so click your name where you want to go boom right there done signed scroll down these are the games we're going to be playing these are the uh the ratings for them uh some more information about why we have to do a permission slip this is the purpose of the um thing we get rid of that bye-bye um notes yep that that's all cool um now name name you can type is just fine and parent name you can type that's just fine but then sign gotta sign it okay and that's a parent signature right here so same thing we're gonna click here we're gonna click sign and we can go up here and click the sign thing but it's oh wait a minute it's your it's your name so click the minus add signature again make sure you click on the draw and then have your parent sign you know whatever they're going to do i'm just doing it fast and then they can apply it and then boom they can put it right down the signature then once you're done you can click file save as and save it wherever you want to save it uh desktop because i like it but you could say whatever you like just remember where you save it and you can leave that title i would go ahead and put your rewrite it with your name my name here whatever and then save it and then that file is what you're going to email to me my email is here on screen it's on the document itself so email it to this email um or let me know if you're having any problem at all with either attaching the document sign the document um any problems at all with this document it's a one-time thing only and i'm gonna make you do this over and over again uh once it's done you don't have to worry about it after this you shouldn't have any more technical problems with the group uh so again if you have questions text email me shoot me a message on discord whatever you like better the hangouts fine and i'll see you in game
