hi please take a seat okay how can I help you today he'd like to book a holiday with us holiday package that's not a problem oh I know the weather's been fantastic actually we're finding that our customers are opting to stay in the UK to make the most of the work because it's so great but you'd like to go abroad no that's absolutely fine hey papito okay so what kind of holiday did you have in mind if you've got any particular countries you are wanting to visit the here well no okay you want to budget okay and just so I can make a note what's your budget for the holiday this year no more than 2000 okay that's fluid consent you find a great package from you for me is that for 40 people with yourself a new button great okay and that's for two weeks okay so to get started tell me about the type of holiday you're wanting is it relaxing Beach holiday spiral holiday something with a bit of culture what kind of what Bo ideal place okay okay so I'm here and you wanted to go somewhere super quite unusual perhaps exotic something inspiring and touristy okay we can certainly help you with that actually haven't you considered Eastern Europe at all okay it's um great thing about it and you have a particular Romania I'd strongly recommend it's not it's nothing like the media portrayed at all a lot of people think it's the orphanages and great buildings especially because the communist regime but Romania is a really undiscovered country tourist wise it's got everything it's got medieval cities with cobbled streets speak history it's got the fantastic mountains absolutely breathtaking scenery it's got fantastic rivers the Danube Delta for example which is a great place for wildlife all kinds of tourist attractions and because it's Eastern Europe it's it's relatively cheap to visit for UK tourists so you'd actually get a lot for your money okay there's something you'd like trips for right okay okay yes it's something that you've never listed the forces could you've ever seen before I'd recommend I've got a lovely I've got to tour packages actually I'm thinking of suggesting one is our best of Romania tour package which is a seven-day trip and that takes in some of the great villages um cities and towns of Romania um and another one is the river cruise on the diner but Danube Delta which lasts for seven days um and so if I spend a little bit about what they involve you can choose which one you'd like to do them in that's so good okay okay so let me just go through the itinerary for the best of Amin Utah okay so um Dave when you'd arrive at Bucharest ought to be me that's the main airport and depending when you derive you'd have the afternoon or morning to explore the city yourself you might want to go to the palace of parliment that's actually that was built by the country's dictator Jorge ethical and although it's notorious and quite controversial a building in terms that it was built by the local workforce when there was a lot of problems in the country and person he was a dictator and it actually opens to the public and it's a spectacular building so it is something well worth a visit it's got over 1,000 rooms it's one of the world it's for the world's largest civilian building it's spectacular inside there's a lot of marble statues great stonework everything that is built by from local materials um that's great types of photography opportunities tooth that's well worth visit um you also might want to visit the national village Museum in Bucharest which has over 60 original houses that's open-air um but these houses can date back to the 19th century and they're all original so you can walk and visit water mills and the windmills and through the they've basically set up as they would have been in the 19th and early 20th century you couldn't he can look at reconstructed rooms and things like that a great place to water my hand a few hours and of course going to Bucharest it would be shame to go and not visit where the Revolution kicked off in December 1989 and there's some great walking tours you can find out about history and what went on there and so it's great education with city okay so that's Morris for you're free - don't you want me in a little afternoon um we check you into the JW Marriott bucharest a Grand Hotel which is a four-star hotel and has everything you'd expect a four-star who'd have to have it's got the Spassky and Paul the rooms of course a real sweet it's predominantly furnished you be staying edges for the night though on the trip out update to you would take the code with your tour to sanaya which is a mountain resort town that's home to finish castle which is a 19th century castle it's it's really fantastic castle was meant to be one of the most beautiful castles in Europe and actually look at the photographs did you think it was a fairytale castle I've got lots of guitar it's beautifully furnished you'd have to see it to believe it really I'm from there they need gold to brush off which is a credibly beautiful city in Transylvania old brush of itself which is where you'll be spending the your tour would be taking you to is an ancient very beautiful historical place you've got a mean piazza where there's cafes and bars kind of lining it and there's a fountain and it's because it's nestled over white at the bottom of the map hills um it's it the scene was fantastic she'd have a free afternoon exploring the surroundings of that of odd brush-off it's like going back in time it's very beautiful you'd stay at we put you up for two nights at the hotel casa battlo which is the three-star Hotel I've personally stayed down it's it's beautiful place it's got a lot of character to it and that's actually on the square itself go to the center of things day three you would stay in brush off because there's so much to do there's a we take you on a brush off for city tour she looks at the northern parts as well as the older parts you'd go to the black church which is so neat because there was a fire actually the 19th century and stained it oh I've got beautiful surroundings not as well and you could also go we'd take you up into the cable car into the mountains and actually but I shall has some similar light sooner to Hollywood with a Hollywood lettering in the mountains that's the case with a brush off then the cable car takes you up onto those mountains when you can actually see the brush off flattering you learn to climb behind them too so a default would be going to bran castle which is the home of the notorious Vlad the Impaler otherwise known as Dracula you've never heard of him it was also home to the Romanian royal family in the 1900s so although it's very touristy up to a point and it's a really interesting place to visit um there was a lot more to it than its dracula connections actually um after that you'd go on to some 45 fortified churches these are really common in Transylvania because Transylvania is obviously nestled between Germany humming other countries so in terms of there was lot earth and battles and attacks that it that it that the villages only inhabitants suffer so 45 churches were actually churches but around in the area there were hidden houses in rumors so whenever a village was under attack villagers were to go into the protected areas around the church build the portcullis were to come down and they would be able to stay there for days a week is a time because they had all the supplies necessary so pleasure has a lot of secret houses and rooms that's fascinating 45 Church to visit so that would all be lonely quite a full day one day for um in the afternoon you drive to six rather which is another very beautiful medieval sense in town um that's actually reputed to be the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler so again the Dracula permit connection there after that you drive to it CP which is a stunning city absolutely stunning the hotel there we do pick you up in is Imperator or ornament or non which is a three-star Hotel but I would say I've been there she actually before started popping be furnished it's a lot of red and gold theme for thorne a swimming pool um the breakfast did 14 beautiful spread you walk into this incredible faded room and everything this there's all this table was covered with all kinds of different foods it's fantastic the datafile would be a chance to explore CPU in the morning and we'll spend this because I think about CPU is the building's the windows and the buildings actually it like eyes and they're called the eyes of city and it's repeated that wherever you go they're always watching you so you are gonna city tour of this beautiful city and if lots of museums to visit too if you like I'll be the molding then we drive to Cluj in the evening which is outside of Transylvania and it's very different to what you would have seen so far it's a very student City a lot busier but never there's a lot of food a great places to visit this evening - what / up and the market please answer me quite building with lots of parks - because a student here that's lot of really quietly pubs and bars to check out you'd be staying in place for one night at the hotel briefing which is a four-star hotel again another one I've personally visited and this is actually recently opened as of November 2012 so everything's when you bring new and modern and that's done up in Italian style so one of the last days of the city tour is huge - is funky short sale which is a very small fishing village which is the oldest in Transylvania and there's lots of beautiful beaches and you are part of the relative ruse at all you will be going to spend two shorter so anything you miss this time much you can go back later and explore some of the more beautiful beaches if you like although it's very small it's actually the only place in Romania where you can see the down over downtown the Black Sea I could stay over at the Ferdinand pension pencil on the next day is when you transfer from Santo georgette to Bucharest I'm going to stay again at the Marriott Bucharest Island Hotel which was at the side of the tour and then you could have the evening again to explore people of Bucharest I mean out um was down the hotel and check out its abilities okay so does that all sound like something you'd be interested in so far at it would lovely okay okay so let me just talk me through the utter grief for the Danube Delta rather bad news so firstly um you'd be going on the floating hotel which is a four-star boat it has ten cabins each with two beds pause they're all on the suite um this has a open deck and a Sun Deck there's sunbathing and of course observing wildlife mr. Daniel down to its absolutely rich in wildlife especially different species of birds so it's really nice that it's really important to be able to get out and I'm an active on the deck and have a look at the scenery path see what meals are cooked on the boat you'd have your breakfast lunch or dinner there but it will traditional Romanian cuisine so there'll be things like Somali which is stuffed by needs and that's often coated with some sour cream and serve with polenta there might be home tests you seems like a chore about a parish soiree which is I'm sorry meat or soup different choices of salads and there's also pastures a little Italian food as well so all kinds okay so they will ease the transfer from Bucharest to torch la where you bought the floating hotel um day two is when you return to us hunters on chef teah fishing village but only for a short time because you're then sailing from the back same and you are able to have look around to the surroundings and there were lots of photos photography opportunities there day three will be sailing - so Holly Peninsula which is a great place for bird spotting and you will be having your lunch as the boat reaches the middle of the Delta at the old and help called the Maga double channel and that's bright mores of the night date forward is you'd be visiting the efficient very beautiful village called Lata and that hasn't changed the decades and this is this particular day it's one of these one of the favorites by a lot of had people who've gotten had to exactly love it she'll picked up from the boat by a horse-drawn carriage I'm and take it to the really amazing forests in the top and let's weekend on a picnic I mean don't have a little hike on explore I'd like um today five and six that's when you're exploring visited the lakes that evening to torture for you more in the next day that's when you'll transfer back to Bucharest and rapini Airport so as you can see the seven-day tour is at a really leisurely pace there'll be a lot of tourists beautiful wildlife spots that you'll stop off how to take effect a grass if you'd like to take a walk um but usually they're the whole premise is that it's nationally and a really relaxing stay you can just take the time have a few days to relax on the boat if you like or have the opportunity to actually go out and explore the scenery and when the boat stops off all meals are included including a picnic don't worry about that um so now it really depends if this is a Tory you'd like it so I hope it depends what order you'd like to do it it what would you offer okay pass me I can recommend that you do the best Romania tour in the first week because because the second tour so nationally it's really nice to end on that note rather than how things start to offer in history pace and then I'm tiring yourself out with a bit of a furlong tour afterwards so it's it is always nice to do it in this order and a lot of customers do you prefer that way to okay you'll be dressed it that's great okay so let's look at the costs okay so the country to all the best for me Utah that's such a special rate there's 600 pounds for both of you and that includes the cost of the coach travel all the all the hotels which rain as I've said from the five-star to three-star includes entrances to tourist attractions all kinds of things like that as well as some other meals but you can you do have the option of going out for meals on your own if you just like some time as a couple and that's absolutely fine so the riverboat tour is a little bit cheaper that's a 450 pound for both of you again so I'll includes all the males on board so the total then for the whole horde a few we'll just go for both of those that's going to be that's 1,250 pounds for the two weeks which is fantastic value what I would say it's the only it does include is the cost of the flights and of course any additional spending money so if you do want to go out for meals then you explore I didn't want to just butter shopping as well okay still good yep I'm on it as I said I still comes under your budget so stop something you'd like to book great okay so let's get started with that so what clue takes you to Peter in middle-earth which line now what kind of in a forest yep okay so I took on a Friday that's it's fine let's just have a chat okay we're about August 23rd so you'd be arriving into Bucharest dr. peeny August 23rd I'm leaving like this September 5th I work out for you okay okay so it's light sit I'll take your details in a minute dividing up we live with the best place but because it's a Romania I would recommend one of the budget airlines but you're at a lot cheaper so if you was to go to blue where for example um that would only be I couldn't find out the exact cost in a minute but that would only be one to two hundred pounds for the both of you depending if you want if you did want to go with more of the major islands like Lufthansa it is more expensive and also they don't do direct flights so it does depend where you live blue air flies from Luton okay so you are near at Gatwick Heathrow so it would make sense to do the Lufthansa but just blow mine that's a little bit more expensive yeah that's why not gonna find out the flights and blue air for you I mean I would recommend that and mean it's budgets you're not going to get the complimentary food on board but um it is a three hour flight and it's just one flights so you wouldn't need to stop off overweight anyway which is what it's the caterer who funds them okay so did you want to go look at the flight toast football let's do the feeling so what did we say was Newton there was a coach service to Luton of course it is easy to get you from central London of course alright so you said 23rd of August we said Templar faith did we study see what there is ok so total cost of the trivia for the return flight with blue hair is 250 pounds 96 ok ok and is that something you'd we've done that do you have any questions terms of the the tools the flights language okay well vast majority of Romanians do speak fantastic English but I'd always recommend taking a phrase book and just brushing up on just learning a few remaining phrases it's always nice when you go to a different country to learn a few select phrases and most people do speak English yep yep I can't the currency is in a mm-hmm yep it's normally around five lay to the pound Michael just take that for you in a minute that obviously will change slightly um and as I said everything is very cheap in Romania the UK Taurus so typical meal out for a three-course meal will cost around 13 a so that's going to be around six pounds you can see just how cheap everything is out there then I will just check for you yeah so at the moment that is 5 lei to the pound slightly normalize that right which is pretty good really so it's worth bringing about lots of presents for your friends and family you know you get a lot of your money in clothes shopping of course is fantastic it's really cheap ok do you have anything else you wanted to ask injections yep you don't need to get any checks done but it might be guys going to your GP inches and just check in with them if there's any recommendations but certainly we don't recommend Rea these injections for countries like Romania that's no longer relevant anymore in terms of clothing you're going to be going in really nice weather in the Romanian summer certainly if you're going December to February time I would highly recommend taking all kinds of sweaters and really warm things as temperatures get to minus 23 in the winter months but at the end of August to around and early October it's read a great weather so Roman sunny but and we might be worth taking a cardigan and some sweatshirts hmm for the river cruise especially at night if you're going to be on deck it will get a little chilly insurance ok yep I would definitely recommend getting some kind of health insurance it might be that it's something that your bank offers as part of one of their day or so do check with them it's always worth getting some health insurance as you never know not we've never had any problems but any of our tours but it's just for the extra peace of mind really and indeed if you happen to fall ill beforehand then that's all covered for you so anything else you wanted to ask with the tours no okay in which case let's just make the booking apparent and then everything's sorted and then you just need to come back one more
