We all chose 1 chit and we were supposed to bring the gift, the next day. I brought a pencil box as a gift. The gift I received in return was a gift that I could never forget. I still carry it with me now also wherever I go. It was a tiny locket of Jesus Christ. The one from whom I received the gift, her name was Rose . She was one of my best friends in school. There has been a great deal of armchair quarterbacking from various pundits and columnists, many of whom are not fans of Trump, but yet condemn the author of the NYT column.There reasoning is pretty strong, and the ethics are indeed questionable—and if this were a normal president and normal times, the ethics of both the author’s letter and their self-confessed insubordination would be clearly black.But these are not normal times, and this is not a normal president. Furthermore, the constitutional means of dealing with such a president have apparently broken down—at least for now. Congress shows no sign of fulfilling it’s constitutional duty to impeach and remove the president, the courts are pushing back now, but judges are gradually being replaced with lackeys, and the 25th amendment is even harder to use than impeachment.There’s a saying “all that evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing”.For those who see clearly as I do, that the president is a clear and present danger to democracy, the Constitution and the rule of law, and a brazen wanna-be dictator, it may be that people inside the administration are seeing greater dangers, worse immorality, worse illegality, than has been reported. If they were to meekly follow orders, they would be complicit in this. We know there’s some bad stuff going on from both Wolf and Woodward’s books, as well as other leaks over the last year.If these people resigned in protest and reported it all to congress, it seems likely congress would do what it has already—yawn or make excuses for Trump, and nothing would happen. And then they would be replaced with a toady who would do exactly what Trump orders.There’s an Air Force officer who follows the president around carrying a briefcase called “The Football”. It contains the nuclear launch codes, and the president has the sole legal authority to use them. Let’s say Trump loses it completely. In a massive snit—he decides to “push the button”. Would you want the Air Force officer to just follow orders—as he is legally bound to do, or would you prefer that he refuses? Or changes our the launch codes?I agree that the NYT column’s author is insubordinate. I agree that this situation is bad. I agree that it’s an awful precedent. In normal times, I would be horrified. But I have to say, these are not normal times, this is not a normal president, the constitutional means of dealing with this lunatic president have failed—at least for now—and I am frankly GLAD and RELIEVED that good people with some decency and common sense are making some effort to be the guardrails that are clearly and urgently needed at this time.

I can't speak for all people with ADHD, but my top three would be 1) I'd like better understanding from teachers and peers into how extremely difficult it is to do anything I don't want to do, 2) I want anyone and everyone to understand that I am not lazy, and 3) I want teachers and parents to stop assuming that ADHD is always a curse and a burden, because it isn't.At my school, we have iPads in class (it sucks). Everyone plays games, but I'm on Quora or researching disabilities. I have to be doing something engaging to be able to pay attention to boring lessons, so that's what I do while a lesson is going on. Today in math, my teacher told me to put my iPad away and pay attention. So I put it away, took out my sketchbook, and stopped listening to him. I was upset. I haven't told him that I have to be doing something else to focus, because I figure he won't listen (he's kind of a hardass).My parents told me for 7 years to clean my room, but it just got worse and worse to the point where you couldn't see my floor. I could not physically bring myself to even start cleaning it, because I didn't know where or how to start (I eventually did end up cleaning it this past spring break, but it's still not done).In school, ADHD can be a curse, but in any topic I enjoy, I excel. I love neurology and researching. I used to adore spelling and reading. But I hated math (still do) so I never did it. I will always struggle with that which I find tedious. It also lacks Aramaic’s suffix (which then became the language’s equivalent to the definite article EDIT: I’ve found other interpretations, such as an extension of the feminine, or as an inversion of the ha pronoun—think “noun+ha”, instead if “ha+noun” (Pat-El, 2009, “The development of the Semitic Definite Article: a Syntactic approach), or its use of dhu as a purely genitive marker (Frozen itself in a genitive form).Arabic also doesn’t have Aramaic’s tendency of turning n’s to r’s ( bar in Aramaic, bin in Arabic, for example), not did it share the trend toward spirantization (so it can’t even be said to very influenced by Aramaic, beyond some loanwords. No. It’s possible more inscriptions could upend this, so this might make this all outdated anyway. But currently, that origin makes the most sense: the earliest mention of Arabs (or any Arabic word), are as soldiers fighting in Northern Syria at Qarqar, 853BC, as part of a coalition of a dozen princes against Shalmaneser III. As gindibu—their leader—is listed as a prince, this suggest they’ve been around long enough to form at least a proto-state.Anyone arguing for a Yemeni origin (or anywhere else) for the language would have to explain the earlier mention in the North, and also explain how a people in Yemen were able to bring a contingent all the way to Northern Syria—and not be noted for this by anyone. From what I’ve seen, nine times out of ten, if there’s a nursing concern about doctor’s plan, it’s either because either the doctor has missed something (and if the matter is brought to their attention they should change it), or the nurse has missed something (in which case the doctor now has a chance to explain the rationale for the treatment plan). It usually has to be something pretty bad to go beyond that.I saw this done for valid reasons once or twice, and I saw it done inappropriately a few times as well. For instance, I did once work with a junior who had a really bad attitude and no idea what he was doing, and I wasn’t surprised in the slightest when I was asked to review some of the decisions he had made (I ended up reporting him myself).On the other hand, I remember I once got asked one night to “urgently” review a suspicious skin lesion that had been present for several weeks (this was from a ward that was known to be rather suboptimal in its ability to prioritise things). Price for eating is quite cheap as school canteens are subsidized by the government. The tuitions should not be expensive either.Travel opportunities. You will have a lot of chances to explore this large country with many different nations, cultures and food cuisines. This is quite good for those who love travel and are interested in this country.Cons:Language. Chinese is quite difficult to pick up if you can’t speak any at present. You need to ask someone to help you if you want to do sth. You cannot expect solving all life issues by speaking English only. Public signs/directions are often only in Chinese.
