The short answer is: It depends. If the document is unsigned, the PDF will be signed with the public key of the individual who digitally signed it. The PDF will then be digitally signed again by this person with another public key. If you do not want people to digitally sign your pdf, then you may create an encrypted pdf. When you create a new pdf, it will have the same name, but no encryption. So if you want to send it to a friend or to yourself, you have to make a new pdf of it.
