If you want to see where your files go, click on the 'more' button on any file in your account, and click on 'view file locations'. This page lists every single .doc file you have opened, plus any .pdf files that will be opened, and shows you what folder your files are located under. I think you might find that having a single folder for your documents is easier for you than keeping many, big, separate folders that can be opened by multiple programs at once.
