How to sign pdf file with certificate?

I am working on the installation of a website which requires a valid SSL certificate. I need to have that certificate signed by a CA, because the server uses self-signed certificates for its certificates. I have done the following on my Windows machine: Open Certificates MMC - right click on CA Certificate (or whatever). Select New Certificate Signing Request. Enter the hostname, the subject, the issuer, and the serial number on a separate line, then click Next. Enter the certificate store path, and click Next. Enter the name of the CA certificate in the Certificate store location of your choice, and click Next. The certificate request window appears, and you may also configure the client computer to trust the signed request, by right clicking on a blank space in the request, and selecting Trust this certificate request from a list. It can be installed as a service, or even a DLL. You can run it with the command line arguments: .\Certificate Signing -r "C:\Users\User\Documents\Certificate Signing " -s -n -e The certificate signing request is sent to the CA with the subject, issuer, and serial number, and is signed using the CA's private key. The certif...
