high speeds on this new new version so very soon you will be seeing our logo and our solution up and ready on the new Microsoft answer Mike marketplace as well and we're also ready to to support our solution supported through the Microsoft lifecycle services and in addition to that we also work closely with Microsoft consulting services and some of the larger engagements and lastly we've been obviously we support ACH payments in the North American region we integrate to international and Amos data that's true Swift and in in Europe the new payment standard throughout the European region for cross-border payments as said and we of course the cost report all these we also go down to a more local level the tax payments as some of you may be be aware of this it's a standard that's used about ourselves and would love to know what brought you all here and I think we'll go ahead and close that and pass it back over to our presenters today yonas thanks so much for sharing about SK global now we are going to hand it over to Tim Kahn he is our CTO here at at big Louisville and will be presenting our solution to you hello everyone again this is Tim I've spoken with many of you in the past and nice to meet the rest of you what we're going to do is we've organized our solution across these different feature sets and what we want to do is the reason we've done that is because now we're beginning to build this out into that full banking and Treasury automation solution so we're going to talk about each of these and the different functionalities we have within them of course we start off with a base of Dynamics AX we layer on top of that skg banking and Treasury automation also across all of these feature sets are numerous formats that we'll talk about and the communications hub that allows us to integrate and access different banks I'm going to just start left to right we're going to go down and so cash management automation this really deals in large part with our bank reconciliation piece again we're going to be continue to add more pillars to this but let me just jump into this and we'll start out and show a little bit of that so what you're seeing here is our ax 7 or AX 2012 the solution some of you are familiar with this and the highlighted areas where we deal with the bank reconciliation piece is part of cash management automation as you can see the solution is very tightly integrated with ax it's built upon the whole technology I will touch on that a bit more as we go forward so in terms of bank reconciliation of it's an automated process so it's completely unattended and the bank files come in automatically with your bank statements and what we see here in the background is a analog of the files that have come in in the status of those files and then below you can see the actual data that came in this is an historical record again the huge value here is it's an automated process unattended the files are automatically picked up and whether you have 15 bank accounts or 200 bank accounts in a bank statement we automatically bring those in in one one fell swoop once those files come in then the next thing of course is to match and map those transactions and so this screen is an unmatched transaction screen it gives you by exception those things that have not matched as you may be aware that we do have a set of rules that are involved in terms of refining the matching process as well as mapping and for us mapping is bringing in those transactions that are not yet in ax they're in the bank statement that we need to bring in and map to a GL account so we do this through that mapping and we can fully automate the process we have a number of customers that are bringing in hundreds and hundreds of bank statements bank accounts every day and we have some customers that used to take seven days to do the reconciliation now it's reduced down to one and that's largely due to the sophistication of the matchings and mappings that we provide another very key highlight of this area is the enterprise wide bank account visibility so in ax you may be aware you're very focused bank account by bank account in standard ax what we've done is we've broaden that out so then as an enterprise user you get that visibility and you can see on this screen you can see the company the bank account in bank statement date and bank statements so you get to see that global visibility you can see opening balance ending balance and the unreconciled accounts very great feature for your CFO or treasurer to get that visibility corporate-wide across the whole organization now for those of you wondering again where is the onus mentioned we're on ax7 so what I want to show you now is what the software looks like on the ax 7 solution for those of you that might not have seen it this is the new web-based the ax 7 solution here you see re banking suite with all our modules available and then if you click here you would get the same kind of thing I just showed before is where you have the file that's imported you have a history and a log of that and within that you can see the transactions so just wanted to give you a taste I've got another couple slides later to show you that as well so all our functionality that we put into the AX 2012 product is available on ax 7 when we release it in a few weeks all of that will be available on our ax7 solution so coming back let's move over to vendor payment automation here we're dealing with how we're electronically paying our vendors we'll talk about that in great detail and it involves a communication again with the bank's sending files to the bank and getting files back from the banks so let's take a look at what we have there so the first part of that of course is the file support yonis mentioned initially that we do deal with a number of banks around the world in fact there's never been a bank and we've not been able to integrate with clearly we don't have every bank in the world in our solution today but we certainly have most of the major ones and as we encounter other ones we bring them in so you can see a sampling here of some of the banks that we do support out of the box again just overall we have a number of formats all over the world and so just rest assured is if you need integration with a bank and you you just wonder whether we can do it it's just a matter of getting us a specification and we deal with that so not only outbound files but also inbound files getting returned files back from the bank we have that functionality as well so some of you that have dealt with this in ax you know that not only is there a format with a bank but also within that format there can be payment specifications so I just want to show a couple of examples so for instance here's a denmark bank on idea they're a gateway solution but within that and their different payment specifications so when we provide a format we don't just provide kind of a piece this gets down into the exact details of what's required to make this really work if we go now here I'm going to pull up a chus ACH and again we handle the various different payment specifications CCDC c d + c TX is quite more advanced we provide that out-of-the-box full ad i 820 transaction set one more I want of your show is the Bank of America EDI 820 transaction said on again here the payment specifications that you see there so there are some files that banks handle that can handle all forms of payment transactions so in this case this particular format can handle ACH it can handle outsourced cheque printing in the US there's a thing called cheques and then of course all kinds of wires both federal book wires chips Fedwire software and then pay mode X which is the virtual pay solution so just want to distress that with our formats we also have a great level of depth in terms of payment specification and all the details that are required both the fields that need to be captured in the solution they're data-driven and therefore you without customization another aspect of our vendor payment solution is the integration with the ax payment journals so we don't have anything separate it's all based on the standard ax technology and so for this case we've got a standard ax payment journal and what you see here is an ACH CCD payment so we we leverage it off the method of payment and payment specification and then also we have a functionality that we can send the file s part of the payment journal or we can send the file later and we can get actually different payment journals into one file so it's all integrated its integrated with the workflow methodology so if this journal is under workflow control an ax the user then can set that up to control amount security so one issue that people have is how do you secure and know that the files going to the bank are authorized some banks have that capability on the banks site itself which we can utilize or we can use the ax workflow to coordinate and control that security in terms of files going out the door another great feature of our solution is the integrated communications as you may be aware you can create a file that goes to the bank but the next step of course you've got to make sure it gets to the bank so we have that integrated communications here that menu option is shown for AX 2012 in this screen we have our table that handles all outbound and inbound communications so we can we can control and set these communication IDs up we affiliate them with a bank account and then all the processing is automatic so this is simply a setup screen but it just shows the level of completeness of the solution so for instance here I've got a solution where I'm going to be doing an SFTP transfer to Nordea Bank I've set that up and I can set it up to launch a communication session send parameters to a particular FTP client and transfer it to the bank that's the solution fully supports internal IT resources if you have your own FTP solution as well that's available along with it another feature with the the the vendor communication vendor payments is a comprehensive email remittance so we send file to the bank your vendors get paid but also they can get an email remittance that comes off we leverage that against the email template system within ax so what you're seeing here is the standard ax email template system we add a couple of out-of-the-box templates you certainly can add and configure these as you wish you can control the parameters that are given here the layout and then you can end up with a formatted email again this can be language specific the layout is exactly as H you might wish it to be these email layouts are set up both at the bank account level so for instance you can have a company's name at the bottom of the email that would be specific by your by your company or your bank account but in fact we also have it at the vendor level so you could actually configure templates that are configured and applied to your various vendors in case a particular vendor has that need in addition to the in the body email remittances we allow attachments as well so you can send a CSV file to your customer out to your vendor and they then can use that to import into their system so a very comprehensive email peace let's move over to customer payment automation again this includes not only advanced cache application that we'll talk about but also our online bill presentment portal solution as well so let's let's touch and see what we have in terms of customer payment automation so the idea of payment application is to create an AR payment journal from incoming payments the way we do that is we bring it into a workbench where you can maneuver and massage the data so we will talk about the rules that we have to provide for this but with the workbench really allows you to do that analysis so you can finalize those those last transactions the files can come in again in an automated fashion with an ax batch job or you can bring them in manually they come into what we call as a workbench journal this row represents one of those with this kind of a dollar amount that came in then the workbench journal itself has two areas it's got an area where you actually have the computer generated matchings that are in the top and then at the bottom we have those that are had errors and things that we need to research we'll talk a bit more about how we decide and now the computer determines that these are settled or applied and down below there are a lot of options in terms of looking up different accounts looking up different invoices in order to figure things out and we'll also talk about a review process here in a minute as well so this is the intermediary piece after files come in and payments come in and then the next step of course is to create an AR payment journal where all the settlements have been done a very very powerful solution if you have any kind of volume in this area in the US it's used for lockbox transactions but around the world that can be used for any payment application remittance advice that you get in in order to make this all happen we have both matching and write-off rules so matching rules allow us to determine how do we determine how do we get in the a payment could come in to match to an invoice you can set up any a number of these in this particular case what we've got we're saying in this case let's look for the invoice number if it's in the file and we're saying if it ends with a certain particular set of digits and the reason we have that is because you could have an invoice sequence number in ax it going to begin with I ends there 0 1 and you want to match it to it what comes in the file is a 1 so we have that capability to do that we have other lookup types Bill of Lading we also have a custom one so if our rules don't exactly match what you need you can write a custom method apply it to the rules and then you have a matching rule that as the file comes in that custom rule in this case this chaotic sum bill number would go and process that we have some folks that come in and say look at the open invoices and if we total up the remaining balances on those invoices and that exactly matches what came in then we're going to go and settle and apply the cash to all of those whatever kind of rule you need we can deal with then one just want to show here not only invoice number we can match on but customer acquisition or Pio number bill of lading sales order number a payment reference number as I said a custom custom solution so these are the different rules that can be used to create matchings so over and above matching rules we have what are called write-off rules these are was recently implemented in our new release that's available now and before we had the auto credit feature so people that get draw downs or cash backs or charge backs or unauthorized credits this very applies to you so what we do now is have a very comprehensive set of rules that you can establish and so you set up a rule and in that rule you can have various reason codes of why the discount or the the credit was taken you can set threshold amounts to say if the dollar amount is over this or the kronor amount or the mark amount is over this then we're going to go and use this type of Reason code or a different kind of reason code these are standard ax reason codes you set up and when we create we can create an auto credit here where we create a free text invoice it's a credit and then we can apply that reason code to the credit so when you get that transaction in for a hundred trying to settle it say in in boss of a hundred and you only get 90 in you've got to deal with that $10 difference then when we do that we can set up these auto credits in addition the auto reversing feature that we had before is implemented with this with its own reason code as well so if you take an authorized credit and then you need to you're not sure about it you want to you want to record the cash so you record the $90 intake but then that $10 credit that you you put into a reversing batch a reversing journal and later on you can decide what do you want to do with that do you want to delete it out of that reversing journal and therefore let the credit stand or do you want to apply that reversing entry and therefore delete it and remove it so these are these are now rules that are set up and these rules not only at the system level but actually these write out rules are available at the customer level so you can have a different set of write-off rules that are appropriate for each individual customer in deers I'm showing that here in our customer banking details so you can see this customer Thomas and Thomas they have a default write-off rule and of course you could set any number of rules so if different customers have different kinds of criteria or groups of customers you can set up the rules that way in addition we've added an alert system that allows you to notify others of information that you need and donor to do the settlement so I'm sitting here in a workbench processing this $315,000 payment and I have a question and I'm not the best person to handle it so what I might do no actually it looks like I am it's assigned to me so what happens is the user that's in the workbench actually reviews it uses the the review tab here at the bottom and indicates what's the status and needs review and it's assigned to a certain other individual that individual when they come into ax now in their notification list gets an indication that the lockbox needs a review and it's got the amount that needs the review they can click on go to origin which will then that user will then be driven back into the workbench on that particular line the exact line that's the only line that they can review and then they can actually click a note and then they can see that they make a note on what they suggest so the person that originated the request now has that information back actually they get an alert as well that that information has come back and now they can manage the the application inside the inside the workbench a nice workflow piece that allows collaboration between your colleagues so let's talk now about a product that did come out last year as well it's our online bill presentment and payment portal it's called eat pay what here is a free text invoice that's created in the AR side again sales orders or free text invoices as soon as they're posted let me just get background on it before I get into the detail so what we're doing here is allowing you a capability to automatically present your bills out to a customer portal that your customers can receive and then on that portal they can make payments with a credit card debit card or an ACH the process begins again with a an invoice that's posted in a X as soon as that happens that invoice the customer gets notified by email that that invoice is now available for payment so what we see here is a login this is a portal to log into the customer portal and this particular customer would have gotten a notification and they log into their portal on the portal they can see all the invoices that are that are due to them and any payments they've made so this is a basically a complete account summary for this individual customer we see here that invoice that was just posted this 19 that invoice they can actually click on that invoice and they can see the PDF if you've got an SRS report that creates a custom PDF you've now sent out those invoices out to your customers the beauty of this is no longer are you emailing 1 Z 2 Z's to your customers no longer can they say I'm sorry I don't have the invoice and that's why I haven't paid it they now have a portal where they can see in real time all their invoices that are due and they can make payments against so now we're here in the payment area of the portal in this area you see the payment the invoices that are available to be paid it shows the balance on them you can click off in order to pay them automatically full amount or you can make a partial payment in this case the persons making a $10,000 payment they record it they could pay as many or as few as they'd like they click the page button and then what happens is they get a wallet comes up that they can now select a wallet that they maintain again this while while it is maintained in an Amazon Web Cloud outside of your firewall so that the PCI comply is highly simplified they could either pay it through a credit card or through an ACH and a check and so they just check that off and do that and then click submit the payment as soon as they do that the payment is authorized in real time and that goes out to the processor and gets authorized and instantly that comes back into an ax payment journal fully ready to be posted so the beauty of the solution again is is it's unattended bill presentment to this portal automatically upon posting an ax it's in the customers area to manage that to make their payments and then as soon as they do make the payment this information comes back into ax automatically creates an AR payment journal settles that invoice so at the end of the day you have a payment journal with the number of payments you simply post that journal and then all those payments are settled this solution is through a collaboration with notice technologies they've been dealing with the the processors and gateways and payments for many many years they have over thirteen hundred dynamics customers that are using this and that these are the number of payment gateways that they support covers things both North America and in Europe and also it's a PCI compliant solution so very very good I able to be partnering with such an experience the solution provider in terms of the payment process what we found is that if people get involved and are interested in this solution the notice consultants can deal with all the issues about payment gateways and merchant accounts and all of that they've got all that experience and we work collectively with them in terms of making sure the solution works perfectly with NMX ax so let's come over to our Treasury Connect solutions again this is a new area that we're beginning to push out solutions and we're talk about this FX settlement that I'm going to talk about today and again we're going to be developing more things in terms of this Treasury connect again as you can gather we build out these pillars in order to have a roadmap for how we're going to build out our solutions again to provide full try--try capabilities so let's go over there so this area is called what's called effect we call it FX automation so if you're a customer that's dealing with multiple currencies around the world as you know an ax you create a payment journal you can put in the exchange rate and it will do relative to your base currency and ax will handle the do the the container loss on that however if you have very extensive currency needs and large dollar volumes what you may want to do is find the providers that can get the best currency exchange rate for you so what this solution provides is an integration between an AP payment journal our AP EFT area our vendor payment area and a a website called FX all that they're they their goal in life it's at Constance writers a solution that they shop for the best currency rates so when this involves is transferring information from ax over there to say that I've got a journal with hundreds of entries of say rubles and and Chinese want yen or Wan or Euros or GBP or whatever but I want to get the best rate for those we send it over to the FX all site they send back their trade acknowledgement file we send back then a settlement file and then we send payment instructions to make it all happen so there's a series of steps back and forth that and this has all been integrated now into our FX automation solution it's available now with our solution as you can see there's a lot of detail here but it involves going back and forth let me just walk you through a little bit so in terms of the setup in our solution a buying bank account you set up a payment type called the FX of some sort and you then identify the different pieces that are needed to integrate with the ethics all website with that then you set up the various paths of the outgoing files and incoming files and that's all set up once and then it's fully automated and then the rest of the process actually is handled through our main create and send screen which is used for normal vendor payments but we've added FX automation pieces to it and so as part of that as the files go out we send out a trade file a trade file goes out saying I want to trade for this kind of currency that information comes ba k and they say that we can we can buy that currency or sell that currency at a various exchange rate then you say I approve that that trade and then what we do is there's a what's called a counterparty that is the one that's managing that trade and what we do then is send a funding transaction to say let's go fund the trade and then they go off and pay all the different vendors so it's a very very powerful solution and what we've got is a nice integration with our solutions such that the back and forth of the files which could be problematic is done in a very seamless way so that's a FX automation newly added in their latest release now let's jump over to some future things that we're going to talk about actually actually I'm sorry risk management this is an area that in the US has to deal with a positive pay but also another thing we can talk about is our the security of our files in the risk management area a positive pay is a us-based functionality which which deals with sending files to the bank that allow for checking preventing check fraud it validates that the track that you printed is going to be presented at the bank with the correct amount and name so it involves a number of different formats and we support a number of formats we provide this free at free of charge to do that we also have a very tight integration with our communication hub so just as we saw that communication hub before for prop going vendor payments similarly for positive pay we can integrate with any kind of a bank in terms of a browser upload or FTP transfer again you identify one of those communications IDs and set it up against the bank account then we have an historical log of the files that have gone out the screen you're seeing here is a log of those files that have gone and then what we see in the actual checks here in the in the front these are the checks that related to that file again positive pay one thing I also want to show now this is on ax 7 so this is the list of the same exact formats that we have of course an ax 7 and then that same screen that I just showed again this is the file file on ax 7 and these are the checks just as a note the current release of ax 7 does not include positive pay for Microsoft so our solution is the way to go if you're moving moving over day xn so this has been a real quick rapid overview of our solution covering both cash management in terms of bank reconciliation our automated processing their vendor payment automation using doing vendor payments various formats around the world a customer payment automation both our advanced cash app along with our EPA and online bill payment and credit and debit card solution there Treasury Connect dealing with interacting with outside services such as FX all to do FX settlement and risk management in terms of a positive pay with that I'm going to jump over and talk a little bit about things that are coming up coming up in the future got a roadmap and very very exciting a piece of functionality we're going to be adding to our solution is revenue automation upcoming and some of you may be aware that there's a new compliance piece phasmid 606 or ifer is a 15 in Europe that it's going to require public companies to do more contract tracking and billing revenue recognition and etc and so this solution will be
