hey y'all hey welcome back to my youtube channel making sense of credit my name is Tony Hill I'm a person on a small business credit coach and have been for a long time but look oh my god I traded into this in a moment but I had to pull off and do this one and you guys if you just started to join me I'm starting to drive and just all these things on my mind and they come out a lot easier so thanks for hanging with me thanks for being on my channel before I begin I got to do this oh my god this is like a Macaulay Culkin moment it's crazy because what I found out but before I get into it look if you haven't subscribed to my channel please subscribe make a comment if you like if you like this vehicle please like it and most of all share what's the one you knew and loved they can get some information and then the last thing hit that little Bell notification to get upcoming content straight from me but look this is and this is a particular vehicle designated to people that live in Nevada so if you know somebody in Nevada living in Las Vegas or wherever else in Nevada you want to get them on this but look new new Nevada law allowing credit applicants to rely on spousal credit history and the new law that was passed is called SB 311 it it passed in July of this year and it went in effect October 1st of this year 2019 now look I'm gonna read this guy speak I came across this a little bit ago the new law SB 311 which went into effect October 1st 2019 allows an applicant for credit to request that a creditor deemed the credit history of the applicant to be identical to the credit history of applicants spouse which was established during marriage if the evidence of the existence of the marriage is provided the creditor must deem the credit history of the applicant to be identical to the credit history of the applicant's spouse violation of this new requirement is deemed to be discrimination based on marital status which is illegal under Nevada law on October 8th 2019 the trade groups filed a motion for preliminary injunction barring Nevada's official from enforcing the law until the lawsuit is resolved the groups arguing that the SB 311 is preempted by federal law specifically the Fair Credit Reporting Act the FCRA you always hear me talk about and the EC ECOA the Equal Credit Opportunity Act but let me just tell you what this says in the layman terms basically and this is route this rule was made for people who have no credit basically what they're saying is that if you get married to someone and you have no credit unless they have good credit to excellent credit you can adopt their credit by going to a lender and asking them to deem your credit identical to your spouse's credit because you have no credit and they have to follow that give you a loan give you a credit card whatever the case may be in Nevada oh my god unbelievable so it did also - you got these trade groups who are trying to stop this the American financial service oshi a ssin Nevada Credit Union League Nevada Bank Association have filed lawsuit challenging the law and actually I haven't heard anything yet but Devadas response to the trade groups promotion is due by the November 12th now look I I kind of checked this out I called the governor's office last week and now it's amazing because I don't think they want you to know and they trying to snuff this thing out as soon as they can certain people aren't and certainly the banks who have a lot of a lot of money and a lot of influence right but right now it's law I called several banks back for America just several local Nevada banks they never heard of it how can banking is institutions haven't heard of this law what this blows my mind but I said look this is new law SB 3:11 I'm married I want to adopt my why credit which just tells me I can do and the guy is like well I don't know about the law but you know come on in and we'll figure it out we'll have to make a couple calls but it's just amazing I call the governor's office and I talked to the person who supposedly know about Lysa well I can't talk to I can't talk about that that's private I wasn't private know it's public and he goes up and I'm a transfer you licensee any transfer me to licensee and I call back like several times and I could not speak to anyone about it but look this is here I am going to give me a little bit but if you google it SB 311 the law that went into cuz it's quite a few SB 311 but this is what this went into in effect October 1st 2019 and it's about credit once again I told you it's about people with no credit history that you're gonna adopt your spousal also you can even doubt your your ex spouses so to think about it but if so if you're still married legally you can still do it even from a former spouse so look man ah crazy but my mind is blown hopefully your mind is blown if you know someone who lives in Nevada if you live in about I would start to try to pursue this take it as far as you can it says right here they can't deny you because it's against the law and I'm guessing that you can probably take a civil action against them so look Tony Hill I'm out I hope this is news you guys can use and check it out wish I lived in Nevada no I'm just kidding but because I have plenty of credit but look hopefully any of you guys who don't have any credit that live in the body I know someone that lives in Nevada and you get some credit from this ring from this whole thing hit me up send me a comment let me know what's up you guys Nico sent me email 20 of making sense of credit calm you know you can hire me as a personal and small business credit coach send me an email get my get my free ebook that I got out there but look hey I hope you guys can use the Tony Hill y'all I'm signing out peace until next time love and peace
