welcome to the my compass pa mobile app demonstration video on how to create a mycompass account using the mobile app users need to create a mycompass account if they don't already have an existing one if users have a mycompass account they can enter their mycompass account username and password and tap the login button since this user doesn't have an existing mycompass account they'll tap the create1 link directly under the login button on the login screen when they do they'll be taken to the account creation screen users are provided a total of four options to use to create their my compass account in the mobile app the first option is to use their case information they'd use this option if they have active benefits pending benefits recently rejected benefits or a case that is closed in the last 90 days we'll look closer at this option in a moment for now we'll look at the other available options the second option if the user receives a lahit pre-season registration number is to create their my compass account using their lahip registration number to do this the user would tap the use lahip registration tile seen here on the screen that appears the user would enter their social security number if they don't know where to locate their social security number they can tap the information icon the screen will show an image of a social security card to help the user find the ssn for the head of household slash payment name the user will tap done to return to the previous screen on the laheep registration screen the user enters their social security number below the social security number line the user will enter the lahib registration number if they don't know where to find their laheep registration number they can tap the information icon an image of the laheep card will appear with a box around where the lahip registration number is found the user will tap done to return to the previous screen after entering their lahi registration number the user would tap next in the upper right of the app screen however we're going to show other available options the third option is for the user to use their chip information if the user was on the main account creation screen they would tap the use chip information tile however the same tile is available on the laheep registration screen so the user will tap the use chip information tile here on the chip information screen the user would enter their ufi or chip number in the first field and their social security number in the second field again the information icon appears under the social security number field if needed if the user doesn't have access to their social security number they can tap the i want to enter my mci number instead link under the social security number field the screen will change to allow the user to enter their mci medical id or ebt card number if they don't know where to find that information they can tap the information icon two images will appear one of the ebt card and one of the medical id card a box surrounds the area where the user can find their mci number the user will tap done to return to the previous screen the user decides to use their social security number and tapsy i want to enter my social security number instead link here the user enters their social security number having done so the user would then tap next in the upper right of the app screen however we're going to show the final available option before signing in with case information the final option is to use the e-form information if the user was on the main account screen they would tap the use e-form tile however the same tile is available on the chip registration screen so the user will tap the use e-form tile here users would take advantage of the e-form option when working with a community partner to submit an application using the compass website the community partner will give the user their e-form number and the e-form password note that when entering the e-form number that their number must start with an uppercase w after entering their e-form number in the first field they would enter their eform password in the second field the user would then tap next in the upper right of the app screen to continue however we're going to use case information to create a mycompass account the user will tap the use case information tile this is step one of the account creation process when using case information first on the create my compass credentials screen the user could type their county and it will appear for selection or the user could select their county by tapping the drop down arrow in the county field in which case they could select the relevant county and tap done in the upper right of the screen next the user will enter the last seven digits of their case record number if they're unable to locate their case record number there is an information icon under the case record number field when tapped an image of the notice will appear the image shows the location of the user's case record number the user taps done to return to the previous screen after entering their case record number the user will then enter their social security number again the information icon appears under the social security number field if needed also if the user does not know their social security number they have the option to tap the i want to enter my mci number instead link the mci option also provides the information icon to see where to locate that number having entered their ssn the user will tap the next in the upper right of the screen in step 2 the user will enter their first name last name date of birth and email address if they would like alerts regarding the availability of online notices sent to the email address they entered the user can tap the would you like to get online notices checkbox the video titled receiving notices in my compass pa going paperless provides more information regarding how to receive notices and complete semi-annual reporting forms in the mobile app please note that the user must have active benefits to enroll in alerts and e-notices after completing the necessary information the user will tap next in the upper right of the screen in step 3 the user will need to pick a username following the guidelines provided in the app after entering their username the user will tap next in the upper right of the screen note that the user will be notified if the username is unavailable in whether they will need to select another username if the username is available the user will move to step 4. here they will create a password ensuring that they follow the guidelines in the app as they enter their password on the first line the app will inform the user which of the guidelines the password meets by highlighting the respective guideline if the password meets all of the guidelines they will have to re-enter the password on the second line if the passwords match the user will tap next in the upper right of the screen in step 5 the user will need to select security questions these questions and answers will be used if the user forgets their password here the user will tap the down arrow in the select first question field a list of questions will appear in this instance for the first question the user will select what city was your spouse born in and tap done for the second question the user will select what is the first school you attended and tap done for the third question the user will select what is your nickname and tap done the user will enter the answer to each question in this case harrisburg steel high and andy and we'll tap next in the sixth and final step the user will be prompted to read and accept the confidentiality and waiver statement this is a scrollable screen the user will need to review all information when the user reaches the bottom of the screen they will see a hyperlink that reads click here to view the commonwealth privacy policy the user will tap this link when they do the commonwealth's privacy notice will open in a webpage outside the mobile app after the user reads the privacy policy they will need to navigate back to the mobile app by tapping on their recent apps button and opening the my compass pa mobile app window once back in the mobile app below the click here to view the commonwealth privacy policy link the user will see a link that reads hipaa notice the user should tap this link at which point they'll review the hipaa notice depending on how the user's device is set up the hipaa notice will open either in a web page outside the mobile app or in the user's default pdf app after the user reads the hipaa notice they'll need to navigate back to the mobile app by tapping on their recent apps button and opening the my compass pa mobile app window for now we'll skip this link once back in the mobile app and once the user reads all information they'll need to tap the check box next to i have read and agree with the confidentiality and waiver statement after confirming they've read and agreed to the confidentiality and waiver statement the create account button becomes available the user
