in this tutorial we will show you how to add update or remove a beneficiary to begin go to the employees tab and locate the employee whose beneficiary you wish to update in this example we will use amy anderson click on the i icon to view the employee and then click on the beneficiaries tab click on the edit button beside the beneficiary you wish to update enter the update in this example we will reduce the share percentage to 50 click save because we lowered the share percentage there should be one or more other beneficiaries indicated the share percentage should always total 100 percent to add a beneficiary click the new button enter the beneficiary information click save if a trustee is required as in this example enter the trustee information the update and edition will now need to be confirmed enter the effective date of the change check the box to confirm the beneficiary information is true and complete and click save a pop-up box will appear requesting you to please forward the original enrollment form or beneficiary form to our office at your earliest convenience we will also accept faxed or emailed copies of this form if you are unfamiliar with this request please read the entirety of the message to ensure you are compliant click ok and the beneficiary designation is now complete you can download a copy of the beneficiary designation form for your records to remove a beneficiary simply click on the drop arrow beside the eye icon choose delete a pop-up box will appear asking you to confirm the action click ok [Music] and the beneficiary is now deleted again in order for this to take effect you will need to enter the effective date of this change and confirm the beneficiary information is true and complete click save the same pop-up box asking you to forward the form will appear again click ok and your update is now complete that completes the beneficiary changes nomad tutorial thanks for watching [Music]
