[Music] hi there welcome to my channel today we're going to discuss this bahamian themed birthday party decor that i executed in under a week time now the key to the successful event was lots of preparation so if you haven't subscribed to my channel be sure to do so that way you'll get some useful tips on how to prepare last minute events and execute beautiful decor now you'll see here i pulled together in my house items that i had on hand which included charger plates lanterns an array of florals but in addition to that i also pulled together some wine bottles in beer bottles now those were spray painted in black in gold and accented with gold sequin now a lot of items here actually came from the dollar tree and those you'll see in the shapes of some florals which were ivory also the taper candles and the vases pictured here were from dollar tree now i like to mix my florals with some high-end florals and some from dollar tree this combines it well and gives the appearance of higher end quality now we added high boy tables to our event just so we are able to have additional standing and drinking areas for the guests the main focal point for this event was the outdoor space it was absolutely breathtaking and the event took place at night so all those hanging lights were very great with providing highlights for the guests now you'll see here that the center piece was or the focal point or central point for the party were these pallets we used a total of eight pallets and they were stacked too high now the client actually got these for free and returned them once we were done now we really wanted to keep a rustic feel for this so even though i added the ivory tablecloth just to protect the guests from any prickles that came from the palette i left the sides exposed that way we were able to get that rustic feel now preparation as i said is key the table that i use while preparing was six foot long and each pallet measured around 19 inches so doing the combination of that i was able to fully know how many items i needed to spread the entire table now in addition to doing the tables i also added some simple decor pieces into the rest of the space the base of this palette is also very important you'll notice that it features a wide array of area rugs these area rugs were not purchased but instead they were borrowed from my clients mothers friends and family members homes and used as a seating area on top of which we placed the pallets as i indicated but we also placed a wide array of pillows these pillows also were borrowed it's very important when you're doing an event like this that you try to incorporate different pieces which all together will give you this unique look now in the background you will see the tp tent this was used as her main seating area for herself she was a special guest of course so her seating area was made a bit special now we also added this photo booth with a sign that says snap a photo the photo booth was adorned with wisteria that were white or kind of a off-white ivory and then at joann's i found this very cool wind chime that i added and i thought it it really captured the spirit of her bohemian theme now typically i would cover the sides of this backdrop but under these quick setup i didn't have the time to put that in now here you will see the finished product thank you all so much for watching please comment below if you have any questions any tips on how i can make this channel better or any information that you are looking for and i will be happy to make a video showing that later on again thank you for watching and enjoy this video [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] hey [Music] hey
