in this video session we'll work on the task assignment initial regulatory reporting within the complaint handling module if you click info on this task scroll to the bottom of the complaint you see that we are in the initial reporting step of the overall process from here you can click perform task at the bottom of the page or if back at the inbox click perform on your task as you click into the task assignment your duties will be to determine if this complaint is reportable in each of the zones that are configured indicate the date at which the report must be submitted and upload a file of the report information if appropriate these green assistants links that appear on the screen will provide information that can help you answer each of these questions for example the first one will take you to a page that shows what types of events are reportable in this particular zone what are the deadlines for reporting down here this link will take you to the forms that could be used to submit this report in this particular zone if you do complete a form you can upload it here attach it this will be reviewed along with the other information that we're entering here in the next step of the process should be noted that the system does not automatically submit the report the system is a place to capture what should be submitted or later what was submitted again the system does not do an electronic submission of a reportable event at the bottom of the page is a button to save and finish later that saves all the information you've entered leaves the task in your inbox you can come back later click perform on that task come back into this and continue your work when you are finished with this zone click Save and proceed to sign off enter your password and click sign off you'll need to do these steps for each of the zones that is configured here this demo system we only have one zone but typically you'll have two three or even more you'll have to go into each zone answer those questions and sign off on each zone when you're done with all of the zones you can then sign off on your overall task by entering your password and clicking sign off here is a more detailed work flow of the activities that take place within the main process step reporting in the overall complaint handling process the thing that we just worked on is the first box of this workflow initial reporting and that first step you will determine for each zone if the event is reportable and if it is what date it should be submitted by uploading files that contain the reporting information in the second step during the review typically the coordinator will look over the work you've done they will make sure that the report gets submitted if appropriate they will upload a final image of whatever information was submitted to the regulatory agency if the zone requires follow-up reporting there will be a task assignment for initial follow-up reporting and then that will be reviewed by the coordinator the coordinator will submit any follow-on reports that are required indicate the date that was done and then closed down that zone this brings us to the end of this video session covering the task assignment initial regulatory reporting within the complaint handling module from Grand Avenue software
