What does it take to make an anti-gun person a pro-gun person?Exposure. Safe exposure to guns and their handling. Both my mom and my wife were completely anti-gun. They hated guns. They hated the idea of guns. They loathed that guns actually exist because those guns are so “dangerous!”My mom accidentally found out about my guns when she saw a piece of mail on my table with a salutation, “Dear Gun Owner.”To say she was shocked and horrified that I owned guns (plural) is a massive understatement. We didn't talk about it for months. One day, long after I figured she had “forgotten” about it, she brought up the topic of guns and asked if she could see one. I went and fetched a handgun out of a safe, checked it, rechecked it again, and after I was satisfied that it was truly empty (loaded guns don't go in the safe in the first place), then handed it to her and gave her a very basic safety talk.After a few minutes of looking it over, she asked if she'd be able to shoot it sometime. I made arrangements to take her to the range with a friend of mine who was an NRA-certified instructor.After the first shot, she was hooked.My wife knew from the time we first met that I was a gun guy. She thought me crazy in that regard, but after we became closer and approached marriage, she had enough trust and curiosity to ask me to teach her. I made arrangements with the same instructor friend and she was hooked.As an aside, I suppose that I could have taught then myself, but since I had a more-than-willing-to-help professional instructor available for free, no less… why not?My wife wants a gun to call her very own (a pink one, of course! Yes, they do make such things) and then she wants to practice with it and eventually get a CCW permit. This from the woman that didn't want to be under the same roof as a gun.Once upon a time, I participated in a course put on by my then-local police department. One of the classes was on guns and included range time. Being in a liberal Chicago suburb at the time, half the class (15/30) was anti-gun. The police made it clear that that class was optional as was the actual hands-on shooting.Interestingly, all but one person showed up to the class and everyone in attendance, including the anti-gun folks, participated in the hands on shooting. And every last person was happy to have done it. Several of the previously anti-gunners even expressed interest in getting more range time.Based these experiences, I'm convinced that all it really takes is safe, hands-on, real-world exposure.People are afraid of what they don't understand. And portrayals of guns on TV and in the movies don't do any favors, either (think: the gun that fires because you looked at it the wrong way. Or the machine-gun in True Lies that falls down some stairs and fires a shot every time it hits the next step). But some real-world exposure and instruction goes a long way.And, just so we're clear for the record, guns don't automatically fire a shot if they're dropped!

They also showed concern for your health and love for your family.Promises marriage as soon as he/she gets to state for leave that they asked you to pay for.They Requests money (wire transfers) and Amazon, iTune ,Verizon, etc gift cards, for medicine, religious practices, and leaves to come home, internet access, complete job assignments, help sick friend, get him out of trouble, or anything that sounds fishy.The military does provide all the soldier needs including food medical Care and transportation for leave. Trust me, I lived it, you are probably being scammed. I am just trying to show you examples that you are most likely being connned.Below is an email response I received after I sent an inquiry to the US government when I discovered I was scammed. You should be able to enter a plea of guilty (or "no contest", which is essentially the same) and pay the applicable fine on any date prior to the scheduled court date that the clerk's office is open, simply by filling out the applicable paperwork and submitting payment for the statutorily scheduled fine in a form accepted by the clerk.There's presently a situation in Illinois (Chicago) where a clerk refused to allow someone to pay a traffic citation, which has caused a minor contretemps.
