Can a Girl Scout troop leader kick several girls out of a troop because of an unrelated issue to Girl Scouts?No, a Girl Scout troop leader cannot simply kick girls out of her troop, whether or not it’s related to Girl Scouts. The leader must go to her Service Unit Manager or even to professional staff from her Girl Scout council for discussion and perhaps, mediation.As leaders, adults are supposed to HELP girls, who sometimes make mistakes. If girls have been bullying another girl at school, for example, there is curriculum available from Girl Scouts that can be used for the troop to learn about the problem, and help them understand the situation and to teach both bullies and their victims better ways to interact. And, other adults can be brought in to help with ideas to improve the situation or turn it into a teaching/learning opportunity. Often bringing the whole troop into the problem can help, as then there are more girls involved, peer pressure can help, good examples can help, etc. Anyway, bringing in other adults who have experience in dealing with difficult situations can help.Also, bringing the parents into the conversation can help. If the parents know about the situation, they may be able to suggest remedies and/or to do some work on the problem at home. They might even attend the meetings for awhile to help with the situation. Again, the service unit manager or GS staff may need to come in to help mediate and/or make suggestions.If the relationship between the girls/troop/leaders ends up being irreparable, the girls still do not have to leave Girl Scouts if they don’t want to. They might be able to transfer to another troop or to work on their own with their parents.Kicking the girls out of Girl Scouts might be the gut reaction of a leader, but in the long run it doesn’t help the girls, doesn’t teach the leader to deal with unpleasant situations, and might make the girls dislike and badmouth the organization as a whole.

I was selected for a summer internship 2016.I tried to be very open while filling the preference form: I choose many products as my favorite products and I said I'm open about the team I want to join.I even was very open in the  location and start date to get host matching interviews (I negotiated the start date in the interview until both me and my host were happy.) You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience).Do a search on the potential team.Before the interviews,  try to find smart question that you are going to ask for the potential host (do a search on the team  to find nice and deep questions to impress your host). Prepare well your resume.You are very likely not going to get algorithm/data structure questions like in the first round. It's going to be just some friendly chat if you are lucky. If your potential team is working on something like machine learning, expect that  they are going to ask you questions about machine learning, courses related to machine learning you have and relevant experience (projects, internship). Of course you have to study that before the interview. Take as long time as you need if you feel rusty. It takes some time to get ready for the host matching (it's less than the technical interview)  but it's worth it of course.

Just register on the admission portal and during registration you will get an option for the entrance based course. Just register there. There is no separate form for DU CIC.

Oh heck yes!!Our Troop Committee has voted to have a linked Troop.Our Scouts have voted to have a linked Troop.Our Cub Scout feeder Pack has voted to accept girls.Our COR is on board, but has to get official permission from the Chartered Organization's Executive Council.The Troop Committee has developed a back up plan, in case the CO declines to sponsor the girls' Troop.We're already putting out word that we will have a girls' Troop. We're working on getting a Scoutmaster, since one of the stupider rules in place is that linked Troops can share a Committee but not a Scoutmaster.Our Scouts have also voted to start a Venture Crew, which is co-ed, of course, so on the off chance that we don't get at least 5 girls (the minimum needed to start a Troop), the older girls can go into the Crew and at least start Scouting while we recruit enough girls for the Troop.Given the exciting number of girls signing up for Cub Scouts here (2 to 1 over boys), I don't think we're going to have any problems finding enough girls for a Troop.
