They also showed concern for your health and love for your family.Promises marriage as soon as he/she gets to state for leave that they asked you to pay for.They Requests money (wire transfers) and Amazon, iTune ,Verizon, etc gift cards, for medicine, religious practices, and leaves to come home, internet access, complete job assignments, help sick friend, get him out of trouble, or anything that sounds fishy.The military does provide all the soldier needs including food medical Care and transportation for leave. Trust me, I lived it, you are probably being scammed. I am just trying to show you examples that you are most likely being connned.Below is an email response I received after I sent an inquiry to the US government when I discovered I was scammed. In general, in the US, your funeral director will do that for you, on your request.You will need a copy of the veteran’s honorable discharge papers, usually a DD-214. That Funeral Director will know the contacts at the appropriate military installation. That installation will schedule and dispatch an honors team if availible.With higher rates of deployment, it is sometimes more difficult to get a detail than it was 30 years ago when i started. Often now, the best that can be done is a three man team to fold and present the flag, and play taps (usually with an electronic player built in to a bugle to simulate a live player. We often get a two man ream and hire a local trumpet player instead).It is much harder to get a full honors team that includes a detail for a rifle salute. Often now, that is only availible for an active-duty death, a General officer or a VERY senior enlisted man. At least someone of that stature.As an alternative, we use to very often get a team from either the American Legion or the Veterans of Foreign Wars. In recent years, those groups have been getting smaller. The most active era were the WW2 vets, and there are few left, particularly with the vigor required. The later vets have not seemed as interested.If you need to look into this on your own - and there can be reasons you might not be working with a funeral director - i would suggest you find the closest National Cemetery, and give them a call. Tell them what you are hoping to do and ask for their advise. In my area, they do not arange for such things, but they have contact information for everyone who does.

They can’t just leave on a whim, that would be desertion and it’s (sorry I don’t know how it works in America) probably punishable by firing (as in termination of job) or FIRING (as in execution)!!!Soldiers are generally paid enough to fly commercial back to home country.Do not give these people any money or any contact information! If you pay him, you’ll probably get a receipt from Nigeria and nothing else.
