okay so last time we talked about monads and we learned a little bit about monads there's more to it and today I want to talk about most the weirdest mo not that we all know and love that I open there's a lot of misunderstanding about IO so I am gonna as the name suggests deals with input and out and now conceptually thinking about it how can a pure language deal with I am a pure function a few function can all do something that gets child because get chart is supposed to return different characters depending on next art work and the same thing is with printing to the screen books dirt what does it do well in returns like nothing right so how can the runtime actually execute it if it's return value is never used right because it's sustained this unit disappears there's no way to like force the printing of something if if we were doing is naive so this is why we encapsulate this turn on for sequencing and for these side-effects but I told you before you know there's no no side-effects b
