in this video i'm going to talk about wage garnishments so basically what a wage garnishment is is it's an order usually legal order through the courts that basically seeks repayment of some type of of debt that an employee has and so the employer is going to get a garnishment order saying hey one of your employees owes this amount of money and there's a court order saying that you are going to have to deduct um amounts from their paycheck and pay them into um the basically the creditors okay so um there are so basically what happens is you get a garnishment order and you have to somehow confirm yes i receive this and i'm going to obey it i'm going to comply and what i usually do is i also kind of pull the employee aside by ourselves and i say hey i just want to let you know i got this garnishment order i'm going to have to start deducting paint you know amounts from your paycheck unless you get this situa you know situated and fixed um and so that way kind of put the ball back on in
