Chesapeake Public Schools has opened the first of two new health centers for school's employees, families, and retirees. The centers are located near the school's pharmacies, which have been in operation for more than a year. And, what we offer here in terms of services, is not only primary care, but the ability to do health... health risk assessments. In order to do biometric screenings, take the history, and get some background information about each individual patient's health. The opening here at Chesapeake Public Schools has been tremendous. People are just pouring in making appointments, walking in. They are anxious to come in to be seen here. So, they can't believe that Chesapeake Public Schools have provided a center like this.
