Do I need to fill out a customs form to mail a 1 oz letter? Would I put the customs form outside the envelope or inside?
No. There are specific envelopes that are used to identify mail under 16 oz and don’t require a P.S. form. These envelopes have a colored stripe along its borders which indicates to the shipper that it’s an international mail piece.

Is there any insider answer to questions the consular ask during visa interview or when filling out the forms?
Now here is a question to which I will say from the word go, that I do not know the answer to. I have not seen even an anonymous answer from an “insider”. I would be most interested in reading an answer from an insider. I am sure there would be confidentiality clauses in place that would invoke punishments unheard of!I do not know about questions but for filling out the forms, why do you want to depend on an insider for filling up the forms? There are tons of people on the outside who have filled up forms and are willing to share their knowledge.

I created a form using HTML. How can I target inside of the white space where the user enter information with CSS?
If you know the name of the HTML element, then just create a CSS style for that class. For example, if it is a then make a CSS style such as:input {your style here}Examples: CSS FormsIf for some reason you don’t know what element you’re talking about, which you should, then you can always open your browser’s Developer Tools. Every decent browser has one. In Chrome it is in View > Developer > Developer tools. Click the Elements tab and browse to find your element. A shortcut for this is Cmd+Shift+C then just click on the item you want to find. It will highlight the HTML element in the Elements pane for you. Here you can find how to reference it in your CSS style sheet.

How do you tell people in a 'shared work space' to use their 'inside voices' when they are on the phone?
You can do a lot of things, but I have never seen any of them be successful. The people who are speaking loudly ARE using their indoor voices. They may have hearing loss. They should be given a private office, and they are one of the real-life reasons that open plan offices are a disaster.

How would you film to give the impression of someone being inside a space suit looking out?
Film from the back of the inside of the helmet using a wide angle lens so that you get some of the interior elements of the helmet and/or the side vignette. A GoPro might work well. Test a variety of lens options before you shoot the scene. For a future look, you could add overlays that provide digital information on helmet screen.

signNow Illustrator: I made a shape using the pencil and line tools, and now I want to fill the inside of this shape with a pattern. Every time i use the clipping mask, however, it just clips the pattern into the lines but not the empty space between the lines. How do i do this?
To answer your question, I'd like to divide it into two new, separate questions:How do I fill a shape I made using the pencil and line tools? What is a clipping mask for and how do I use it?How do I fill a shape I made using the pencil and line tools? The short answer to the first question is: you join the paths together. To really understand how to use Illustrator, you have to understand that each time you draw a new line with the line, pencil, or pen tools you're actually making a whole new object called a path. It's not like traditional drawing or even other drawing programs (like Photoshop or Painter). So when you make multiple paths and overlay them over each other, they may look like they're one whole shape--but really they're separate lines. Each path you create can have a stroke (exterior line) and a fill (inside color). A path can have either a stroke, a fill, both, or neither. So if you attempt to apply a fill to your individual paths, you may notice that the fill forms the shape of each path and then creates an invisible line between the beginning and the end of your path. This is the problem. The solution, as I earlier mentioned, is to join your paths. There are a few ways to do this. The first way is with the pen tool. The pen tool method is ideal if your paths' end points aren't overlapping each other or extremely close to one another. Simply select the pen tool from the tool bar, click on the endpoint of one path (cursor has a / in the corner), and then click on the end point of a different path (cursor has a square with a line behind it in the corner). This same process works if you're trying to close a single path, too--and you should always close your paths if you add a fill! The second method to join a path has a few variations, but ultimately it's the same thing. Use the direct selection (the white arrow tool) in the toolbar to select one endpoint and then shift-select another endpoint. From here, there are a few options. You can use menus by going to Object > Path > Join, you can use the right-click menu by right-clicking and then selecting Join from the pop-up menu, or you can press Ctrl-J (Cmd-J on Mac). What is a clipping mask for and how do I use it?A clipping mask is a way to reveal only parts of another shape. I use it a lot to add shadows to objects because I don't have to perfectly trace the exterior edge of my shape. However, there are tons of applications of clipping masks...that's just one thing you can use them for!To create a very simple clipping mask, overlap two shapes with different fill colors. While they don't need to be different colors, this will help you visualize the process. No matter which order you select the objects, the first shape will be the one being masked and the second object will become the mask. To change this, rearrange the layers in the layer menu by clicking and dragging the object you want to be the mask to be higher than the one that will be masked.Assuming that your layers are in the proper order, the next step is to select both objects. You can do this by using the selection tool (the black arrow) in the tool bar to click and drag across both shapes, or you can select one shape and then shift-select the other. Please note that there is a risk of selecting more shapes than desired by drag-selecting, so you may choose to use the more meticulous shift-click method if you have a complex illustration. After selecting both shapes, you can create the clipping mask a few different ways. You can use menus by going to Object > Clipping Mask > Make, you can use the right-click menu by right-clicking and then selecting Make Clipping Mask from the pop-up menu, or you can press Ctrl-7 (Cmd-7 on Mac).Clipping masks can use multiple shapes and paths. Just remember that the selected object highest in your layer stack will become the mask.Source: former graphic design instructor
