Is it likely to transfer to Michigan LSA with a gpa of 3.6 out of state?
It depends on what school you’re coming from and what extracurriculars you’re participating in. That’s a good GPA, but if that’s all you’ve got with no work experience or clubs or orgs it may not be very likely.

Could an expert tell me how an out of state executor from Washington can legally transfer pistols and rifles which are located in Michigan and to be sold in Michigan?
I am not an expert on Michigan law, but i can read the instructions. I suggest the executor begin by going to the Michigan State Police web site, MSP - Firearmswhere there is a link to a compilation of firearms laws. http://www.legislature.mi.gov/do...Page 8 of that says:8) This section does not prevent the transfer of ownership of pistols to an heir or devisee, whether by testamentary bequest or by the laws of intestacy regardless of whether the pistol is registered with this state. An individual who has inherited a pistol shall obtain a license as required in this section within 30 days of taking physical possession of the pistol. The license may be signed by a next of kin of the decedent or the person authorized to dispose of property under the estates and protected individuals code, 1998 PA 386, MCL 700.1101 to 700.8206, including when the next of kin is the individual inheriting the pistol. If the heir or devisee is not qualified for a license under this section, the heir or devisee may direct the next of kin or person authorized to dispose of property under the estates and protected individuals code, 1998 PA 386, MCL 700.1101 to 700.8206, to dispose of the pistol in any manner that is lawful and the heir or devisee considers appropriate. The person authorized to dispose of property under the estates and protected individuals code, 1998 PA 386, MCL 700.1101 to 700.8206, is not required to obtain a license under this section if he or she takes temporary lawful possession of the pistol in the process of disposing of the pistol pursuant to the decedent’s testamentary bequest or the laws ofand so on.If the executor is still nervous I suggest he or she get advice from a member of the Michigan bar.

There might be a fee to transfer it to the state your from but it can be done in your home state. On the back of the title there should be a place for the seller to sign and you also have to sign to show transfer of ownership to you.

How hard is it to transfer from University of Michigan to Tufts or Columbia?
Only someone who works as a transfer advisor at Michigan, Columbia, or Tufts can answer this question. Each of these schools has one or more of these professionals who specialize in advising students considering a transfer in or out. Having formally researched articulation – the technical term for moving among schools, I can affirm that it is a specialized skill set.First, your academic characteristics affect your chance of a successful transfer. How does your student performance compare to the typical student who transfers to your preferred college or university? What specific program of study do you want to pursue? New students apply to larger divisions of a university, such as Columbia: the schools or colleges within the larger institution, e.g., Columbia College. Transfers, technically advanced standing applicants, usually apply directly to a major, such as psychology. At many schools, access to some majors is limited, with native students – those who enrolled as first time undergraduates – receiving priority. Acceptance may also require the completion of specific courses that you must take at that school.More generally, how many of your earned Michigan credits will apply to a degree at Columbia or Tufts? It is rare that 100 percent of your completed credits will transfer and rarer that they will all count toward degree completion.Only a University of Michigan transfer counselor can answer all these questions, possibly working with a counterpart at the other schools. It is already late in the academic year to consider transferring for Fall 2018. If you are still a first year student, use the spring term and summer to research your options for Fall 2019. Then find an advisor to help with the final decision as early as possible in the fall.If you are already in your fourth semester, you must contact an advisor immediately. In brief, if you are a top student, looking at a low-demand major, you have a reasonable chance at transfer success. If your performance places you in the middle of your class and you want a heavily subscribed major, your chances are lower.

What's better, continue at the University of Michigan or transfer to Wayne State?
Embedded in your question you will find your answer. You want to please your parents (most of us do) and they want you to secure the prestige of a Michigan degree. But other than desiring to please your parents, you really don't want to pursue the likely additional rigor, and certainly the additional risk of failure, that attempting to complete your Michigan degree would entail. And there is nothing wrong with that. Also, given the hole that you are in at Michigan, academically, and your academic history, the risk of staying at Michigan and hitting that "three strikes and you're out" wall is really, really high. You acknowledge that there is risk, but I'm not sure you recognize how much risk. You say "I think I might have what it takes to get a 3.5." Given the cost of falling short of that--and given that getting a 3.4 or less essentially means failure for you, attempting to complete your degree at Michigan feels way too much like Russian roulette. The fact that Wayne State gives you a path to graduating in a much shorter timeframe adds additional weight to letting "the Michigan dream" go. Yes, Michigan offers a signNowly greater amount of prestige. But a low GPA diminishes that luster signNowly. And the risk, and the signNow delay in graduating, further reduce the attractiveness of that path. Wayne State has plenty of highly successful alumni among its graduates -- the only thing stopping you from being one of them, is you! Good luck in your decision and in life!

As an engineering student considering to transfer from the Michigan State University (MSU) to the University of Michigan (UM), what should I do before junior? Is it hard?
I was a student at both MSU and UM. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Yes UM is tough but so is MSU if you take tough classes and seek out the harder professors. Just be prepared to have people trash talk about MSU. It was hard for me not to defend State. The campuses and campus life are the biggest differences I found. MSU had a gorgeous campus set near a small town and the state capital. UM is spread out throughout A2 and has a totally different atmosphere. Both are great schools; just be aware there will be an adjustment period. Good luck!

Which university is better for an undergrad, the University of Michigan (out of state) or Cornell University?
Depends on what you wish to study and what type of college experience you desire. If I had to choose between the two, I would recommend Cornell, but I am biased. If you are interested in studying architecture, both programs are excellent. Cornell has held the number 1 spot for undergraduate architecture for quite some time.Best bet is to visit both and decide accordingly.
