[Music] my name is Jay Michelson uh my current position is lead fisherman and I've been with Noah accumulative about 8 years maybe 7 and a half or so my job for us at se is to help facilitate the SST getting data U whether it's over the side work with collecting data of Plankton and small fish with the Bongos water samples with our ctd or setting out our troll Nets off our Stern to collect some of the bigger species that we target whenever we're in Port my job transitions from a watch lead to collect data into a facilitator for maintaining the ship maintaining the equipment so we don't have to really worry about that when we're at C I enjoy most about my job being out in outside um I'm not somebody that can be inside a lot so being out here being able to handle the fish and see different things with also transiting traveling into the traveling the ocean it's a lot of fun I think the most interesting thing that I've seen I feel at least uh are the fish some of these things we pull out o
