[Music] this is jennifer nicholson with the ace program and i'm here to interview rupesh ram class for our very first ace spotlight so welcome thank you nice to be here jennifer yeah so um can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey to becoming an ace um yeah thanks uh so i'm currently based in toronto in canada and i work for eclipses solutions as a technical director of well a director of technology strategy as a formal title but i came up the oracle path and i worked at oracle corporation way back in the late 90s and i worked for global support and i remember thinking this is a fantastic uh opportunity and i i was learning so much at the time in support of course earning what support guys earn is not great so i i moved around i became a consultant uh over the course of many years i managed to get a number of certifications like the oracle certified professional i think i did the 8i tuning exams way back in the day and i think i did the ocp on 9 from 9i onwards i was
