all right so maybe you've wondered to yourself how do i latex on a mac well if you go to the latex project page which is latexproject.org and you scroll down a bit you'll see that if you're a mac os user there's something called mac tech that's what you want to use this thing right here so if i go click on that that will take me over to the official page for the project and then we'll go ahead and start downloading it so i click on download that forks me over to the download page and this should work on mojave catalina or big sur and it will work on both arm and intel machines which means if you have an m1 mac like me it should still work if you don't know what that means you probably have an older intel mac and you'll be fine either way it'll work so i just click on that link and then i wait for it to download so let's do that right so i probably could have warned you it's like four gigabytes so about a billion years later i've now got my copy of mac tech here this magtec.package fil
