Hi everyone, this is Ben with some more frequently asked questions. You know one that we still get almost every week at the office is: what do I do after an accident? Sometimes that question comes from the guy who's in the back of the ambulance heading to the hospital. We kind of hang up and tell him to go get good health care. So rule number one is: get a good doctor, follow that doctor's instructions, and get better. Rule number two is: you're gonna have insurance companies calling you, if they're calling from your company, answer their questions, give them the recorded statement, fill out the forms. They're there to help you. If they're calling from the other guy's company, you're not obligated to do anything with them, and certainly not while you're still in treatment. They may bug you, they may threaten you, tell you they're gonna close the claim. It's all BS. At some point you may want to try to settle your case yourself.
