- Good evening, everyone. My name is Ian Meeker. I work with the University of Wisconsin-Extension Office in Bayfield County as the 4-H Youth Development Educator. And it's my pleasure to introduce to you Zen Miller. He's the dairy and livestock agent in Outagamie County with UW-Extension. And he lives in Appleton, Wisconsin. He is coming up to teach us what he knows about CAFOs, Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations, which has created quite a bit of interest as of late in this area, where, about five miles from here there's a proposed CAFO to be built, and the community is looking to the university to try and learn from what's best practices and what does the science say to us.
