Well in May as Hartford and many other cities dealt with a rise in gun violence. Last year, Governor Net Lamont pushed out an extensive gun violence prevention package this year. Now, when that package, there are four laws that will go into effect on Sunday. You know, I'm wearing two hats, one with a resolved murder of my son and now, uh, an unresolved murder of my granddaughter Samuel Saylor is unfortunately no stranger to the pain that gun violence causes. It punched a hole into his family in 2012 when he lost his son, Shane. And again, a little over a decade later when his 12 year old granddaughter, secret was killed in a drive by shooting this past April for him. These laws are personal. It only disturbs those people who have a disturbing agenda and we need to stop that disturbing agenda. It's too many of them. So I appreciate the laws that are being done.
