so I'm originally from Vancouver I could not afford to live in the city anymore and especially as an ear teacher getting jobs I'm an art teacher I'm trained in visual arts not performing arts and there's very few jobs in the city so I decided that I wanted to get as far away from the city as possible so that I could eventually buy my own house but also have the possibility of getting a job I've made some amazing friends colleagues as well as friends outside of school the fact that they see me as a professional and not just my qualifications I'm a qualified teacher I'm a researcher I've taught and my first year special ed alternative ed I've taught First Nation studies I've done a little bit of ceramics which was my my specialty I have also taught kindergarten through grade seven literacy compared to your thirty kids in the classroom done so it's a big class if it's 26 kids which is nice that for kids makes a big difference for me is that you get to know the kids a lot better and you ge
