[Music] hello my name is dr tom weinande i'm a data scientist at blue granite and today i'm going to show you how to extract data at scale from your pdf files in this particular use case imagine that you're a company with a series of invoices with the data kind of trapped on there as pdfs well i'm going to show you how to use form recognizer which is a pre-trained model from azure cognitive services that can extract information from those invoices so without any further ado let me begin right now i'm on the documentation page for form recognizer specific to their invoice model and what i'm going to do is to start by showing you the user interface of this model just to see how it works out now we're able to customize kind of how this model is working as well uh this is this will be useful if we're a company that has a standard format style for invoices that we send out but in this case we're looking at a whole series of invoices as if these were sent to us from other companies and so be
