hey i'm chef steven satterfield and i'm the co-owner of miller union in atlanta georgia in the 20 years that i've been cooking i've seen a massive change in the local food system here there's so much more available than there was when i first started and it's exciting because there's so much more participation because of that the growing community has blossomed and we've really seen a whole slew of young growers which is that's what the future needs and so i think a lot of it has to do with the nurturing from georgia organics and all the education and the resources that they provide but also that participation from chefs you know making these choices with their budgets and and that that's a major part of that growth here in atlanta my name is stephen satterfield of miller union and i'm honored and inspired to be a part of the farmer champion campaign
