my name is Gary Dirks I'm chairman of the board for Arsenal Credit Union here in Arnold Missouri I started banking at Arsenal about 2010 before that a credit union I didn't know what a credit union was once I found out about really the mission of a credit union it's about members finding Solutions of people helping people a Cooperative once I found out what it was really about I thought it was a good way for me to give back and I was all for it I was asked to volunteer and uh it was a friend of mine at church actually who was on the board at the time and so I thought about and I thought no this is a good way for me to give back but also to give my experiences and background to help other people being a volunteer is really a core of what you want to do to give back to help other people volunteers are important to Arsenal because everyone has a story to tell everyone has a different set of background experiences knowledge life experience if you will whether it be at work or in their own
