how long have you been at RPI 36 years 36 years what would you say is the state of freedom of speech at RPI whatever the president of the school says it is at the time save the Union posted many posters around campus and they have been selectively torn down people who are sympathetic to the cause have had judicial actions be charged against them I had a judicial action against me one for operating a business I have that one as well as one for being at the protest and the operating of business states that our student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute cannot solicit funds or a business I have handed out these flyers they they don't say that at all dishonesty is kind of the main policy yeah they are saying that I trespassed that I did not comply and I was in an unauthorized peaceful demonstration the state of pre speech is not good here [Music] so the Rennes er union is very interesting it's very unique I would say it's the only student-run union that is in a private university in the U
