All members of the public, regardless of age, are welcome to request a tour of the White House. US citizens 18 years of age and older must have a valid, government-issued ID that can be presented day-of-tour. Foreign nationals of all ages must have a valid passport that can be presented day-of-tour.

We can request tours up to five months in advance and no later than four weeks in advance. Congressional Offices can schedule up to ten visitors at a time. RSVPs are first-come, first-serve and in high demand.

Tours are offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and requests can be submitted up to five months in advance, but no later than four weeks before the requested dates. You are encouraged to submit your request as early as possible as a limited number of spaces are available. All White House tours are free of charge.
