okay next for the day we got a busy day dad and i are going to take that truck right there and we're going to head to the local ethanol plant to get some distillers grain and we'll show you that too [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and in typical farmer fashion we got distracted by the dealership [Applause] [Applause] [Music] so this is what we're left with after going the ethanol plant this is wet distillers grain you can see it's really crumbly it's almost like when snow is starting to melt you can just grab it and just squeeze it in your hands and form it it's about 20 000 plus pounds of it we already used a little bit but you can see if i just step into this stuff it'll just like form around i can get a footprint but this is a byproduct from a local poet uh ethanol plant that we use for our cattle um it's really awesome it's kind of like a byproduct from when they're using up the starch and the ethanol and this is kind of the protein or a good protein source left over
