Eriks Gabliks: So, greetings everybody. My name is Eriks Gabliks. I'm the superintendent of the National Fire Academy, which is part of the United States Fire Administration. Over the past many weeks, there's been a lot of discussion taking place at fire stations from coast to coast, and even to our state, tribal, territorial partners. U.S. Fire Administrator, Dr. Lori Moore-Merrell, has also received questions during her travel about the proposed standards being looked at by OSHA. So, what we wanted to do today is bring OSHA into the discussion. We are partners with OSHA. This is an OSHA project, but what we thought would be best to do is to have OSHA share exactly what is being done, why it's being done, who's been involved in the process, and how the fire service can be involved in the process.
