After reading it regularly your understanding power will grow. If you found some words new for you and if you google it then your word power also grow. In a nutshell, your overall knowledge will grow. Now the question is how someone read a newspaper who has never read it before for a competitive purpose, Don’t worry I would tell also this to you here.Whenever you reading a newspaper, first read the content of any article and then translare it in your own language as it is. For Example : If you belong to Orissa then first read it in English and then translate it in Odia, similarly, hindi, urdu or any other language you prefer. don’t think about the time, select only one article and finish it patiently by taking time. Read only one paragraph in a day but finsh it like that if someone ask anything about you from that article may be in moulded form, you can answered about it effectively, bcz if you read like that you can solve Rc, Cloze test, Filler & sentence arrangement in 100% while in the case of spot error only 60% in which you can understand the error through your understanding part.Smart study : The articles or pages you choose from a newspaper choose it by filtering other news other than Financial awareness or business part because the article or topic you are reading may be comes in your mains.If you do this whatever I would tell you here then you can first got improvement in yourself about reading things as well as word power. By this you can start to linking words in sentences which will help you in spot errors and filler sections and after linking sentences you can actually improve your sentence arrangement areas. You should not lie in the self-appraisal form. Professors generally do not ask anything from the self appraisal form. But if they find out some extraordinary stuffs in your form, they may ask you about those topics. And if you do not know those topics properly, you will have higher chance of NOT getting selected for the fellowship. So, DO NOT write anything that you are not sure about.If I remember properly, in the form they ask, “What is your favorite subject?” and I mentioned Biology there. Head of the interview panel saw that and asked me about my favorite field of biology. When I told genetics, two professors started asking question from genetics and did not ask anything from any other fields at all (except exactly 2 chemistry questions as I mentioned chemistry as my 2nd favorite subject). But they did not check other answers in self-appraisal form (at least in my presence).Do mention about science camps if you have attended any. Again, do not lie.All the best for interview round. :)

Chances are your supervisor will at least glance it over or talk to you and your support form helps you in identifying key metrics to bring up.Secondly, a support form is your opportunity to write your own evaluation. Some (a lot) of military supervisors are lazy when it comes to paperwork. Sending them a support form allows them the opportunity to copy and paste it directly to create your evaluation. (*Note, not saying this is a good practice, but, it happens) This gives you the opportunity to highlight just how awesome you area (and sneak in fun phrases to make it onto your evaluation).Lastly, you were told to do your support form. It's a requirement of NCOERs/OERs (which is why evaluations have a spot asking if a support form was received). Ethically, to check that box and not have received a support form would mean your supervisor lied. If it's not checked, and submitted, it will either get rejected by HRC or will make you look like a dirtbag who wasn't doing their job on an evaluation that is in your permanent military record; this can reflect poorly when you look towards promotion boards.Just do it. If you want to do a poor job of it because no one will read it, then that's your prerogative (but not recommended). But at least you can say you did it.
