What is the job in the military every soldier wants to avoid?
The army is really good at sucking the fun out of even the most pleasant activities. Mountaineering, parachuting or a hike through the forest could actually be fun, but not in the military! Therefore, the short answer to this question: In the military, you should avoid all the jobs.Of course, there are some activities that are particularly unpleasant. These include:In the barracks: weekend duties, such as guard duty, everything that involves cleaning, in particular, weapon cleaning, and “technical service” (vehicle maintenance). In the field (in peacetime): digging foxholes, guard duty, especially at night. In combat: to be the first man in the column, the so-called "point man". This is the soldier who is the first to be shot at by the enemy or to step on a mine.Surprisingly, there are always some soldiers who are keen on doing exactly these jobs. If you have someone like that in your group, never question their motives! Just shut up and let them enjoy their activities.Translated from German Antwort von Roland Bartetzko auf Welchen Job beim Militär will jeder Soldat möglichst vermeiden?

Do military members have to pay any fee for leave or fiancee forms?
NOOOOOOO. You are talking to a military romance scammer. I received an email from the US Army that directly answers your question that is pasted below please keep reading.I believe you are the victim of a military Romance Scam whereas the person you are talking to is a foreign national posing as an American Soldier claiming to be stationed overseas on a peacekeeping mission. That's the key to the scam they always claim to be on a peacekeeping mission.Part of their scam is saying that they have no access to their money that their mission is highly dangerous. If your boyfriend girlfriend/future husband/wife is asking you to do the following or has exhibited this behavior, it is a most likely a scam:Moves to private messaging site immediately after meeting you on Facebook or SnapChat or Instagram or some dating or social media site. Often times they delete the site you met them on right after they asked you to move to a more private messaging siteProfesses love to you very quickly & seems to quote poems and song lyrics along with using their own sort of broken language, as they profess their love and devotion quickly. They also showed concern for your health and love for your family.Promises marriage as soon as he/she gets to state for leave that they asked you to pay for. They Requests money (wire transfers) and Amazon, iTune ,Verizon, etc gift cards, for medicine, religious practices, and leaves to come home, internet access, complete job assignments, help sick friend, get him out of trouble, or anything that sounds fishy. The military does provide all the soldier needs including food medical Care and transportation for leave. Trust me, I lived it, you are probably being scammed. I am just trying to show you examples that you are most likely being connned.Below is an email response I received after I sent an inquiry to the US government when I discovered I was scammed. I received this wonderful response back with lots of useful links on how to find and report your scammer. And how to learn more about Romance Scams.Right now you can also copy the picture he gave you and do a google image search and you will hopefully see the pictures of the real person he is impersonating. this doesn't always work and take some digging. if you find the real person you can direct message them and alert them that their image is being used for scamming.Good Luck to you and I'm sorry this may be happening to you. please continue reading the government response I received below it's very informative. You have contacted an email that is monitored by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command. Unfortunately, this is a common concern. We assure you there is never any reason to send money to anyone claiming to be a Soldier online. If you have only spoken with this person online, it is likely they are not a U.S. Soldier at all. How do the JYP auditions work?
You can audition online at any time. You have to fill out a form and submit a short video clip of you singing, rapping, or dancing. Pick the specialty you are best at. JYP selects a monthly winner, who gets an interview with a staff member. That’s it. They may also take any number of auditionees deeper into the audition process (see below). Most months that number is zero. Some months it may be more than one.You can also audition in person when they are holding satellite auditions in various countries (watch for announcements) or by visiting their headquarters in Seoul, which is open for walk-ins at various times. Again, you will be doing a 1 minute performance in your specialty. This will be filmed by a judge who does not give any feedback on your audition at the time. You will typically hear back 2–4 weeks later if you have been selected. You will not hear anything if you are not selected.Candidates who pass early round auditions typically are funneled into the annual audition process. You will spend 1 week at JYP preparing a dance or vocal performance with a group of other auditionees with the same speciality, then you will perform in front of a crowd. You can see examples of these performances on Youtube by searching for “JYP audition”. JYP typically signs 3–4 trainees out of the ~30 that participate in the final auditions. It’s possible there may be an intermediate round before the annual finals but I haven’t heard anything about it.Edit: JYP also now seems to hold boys-only and girls-only auditions about a year before they form the respective groups. They held one last year for boys and last month for girls. These are in-person satellite and local auditions that do not feed into the usual annual audition process. We don’t know much more about these.Trainees also enter the agency via scouting. This may be agency associates finding a video online (Twice’s Momo and Tzuyu were scouted off Youtube), in person trips scouting students in local Korean schools, or candidates being privately introduced through entertainment industry connections. Scouted candidates work with the scout to prepare a short video that is circulated around the company for a decision. This less formal process is actually where most of their trainees seem to come from.

How can I fill out Google's intern host matching form to optimize my chances of receiving a match?
I was selected for a summer internship 2016.I tried to be very open while filling the preference form: I choose many products as my favorite products and I said I'm open about the team I want to join.I even was very open in the location and start date to get host matching interviews (I negotiated the start date in the interview until both me and my host were happy.) You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience).Do a search on the potential team. Before the interviews, try to find smart question that you are going to ask for the potential host (do a search on the team to find nice and deep questions to impress your host). Prepare well your resume. You are very likely not going to get algorithm/data structure questions like in the first round. It's going to be just some friendly chat if you are lucky. If your potential team is working on something like machine learning, expect that they are going to ask you questions about machine learning, courses related to machine learning you have and relevant experience (projects, internship). Of course you have to study that before the interview. Take as long time as you need if you feel rusty. It takes some time to get ready for the host matching (it's less than the technical interview) but it's worth it of course.

Is it necessary for young entrepreneurs to go to college? Is it worth the investment?
The question asks if it is necessary for young entrepreneurs to go to college and if college is worth the investment. In my opinion it is NOT necessary for young entrepreneurs to go to college, but in my experience YES, college is worth the investment. However there are many caveats.I have two undergrad degrees and six minors. I have also started a small business. My undergrad degrees are essentially in Marketing and Economics; my minors are in Computer Science, Economics, Business, Geography and Psychology. None of this education would have helped me even a little with opening, running, growing and maintaining a small business. It WOULD have helped me as a cog in part of a larger machine, but for small business, pretty much everything I learned came from actually starting a small business. The promise and problem of college is that is trains you to be pigeon-holed. If you are training to be a teacher, then you will become a teacher: if you are trained to be a software engineer, then you will become a software engineer. College teaches you to achieve a certain level of success AND NO MORE. If you have no imagination, then where you go is where you will stay. Note that many of the billionaires we have today -- Bill Gates, the Waltons and so on -- were college drop-outs. They realized that college actually stifles creativity and "out of the box" thinking. In addition, as a teacher friend of mine once said, "Education is one of the only areas of consumption where the consumer DEMANDS he gets less than he pays for." To illustrate, think how often people try to get the professor to end class early, cut classes, cheat, and so on. Unless you have the drive to learn, you are just going through the motions, something most students in college are doing. If you don't REALLY WANT to be in those classes, why in the hell are you there? When I was taking my economics classes, I couldn't WAIT for the next class. Most of my fellow students looked at me like I was insane but I WANTED the classes to run longer. There was never enough time for me to get all my questions answered. This is how college is SUPPOSED to be.But for entrepreneurs in America there is no real training school. No one tells you how to get a tax ID; how to write a business plan; how to contact and negotiate with commercial real estate agents so you can scout and rent a location; how to find the right lawyer to choose between becoming an LLC or Chapter S; how to get the right accountant; how to do population and traffic analysis; how to fill out a small business loan form and how to find a bank that has money to lend. No one teaches you how to talk to your banker and the people who are going to lend you 100,000 dollars, or what the risks are and what you are responsible for. No one tells you how to work with contractors to build out your space, or work with suppliers and distributors to get the best price for your stock. There are a million details and almost all of them you must learn for yourself, no college teaches them. There are many books that try to go through the process but they try to cover every single contingency and you get lost. You have to do it. One of the most successful women I ever met told me she got her start in high school by opening up an ice cream stand when she was 15. She rented a long-unused commercial storefront, bought a used freezer, found an ice cream supplier, cleaned the place up, made her own signs and hired the people she wanted. She did the books, bought the supplies, was her own janitor and so on. She made so much money it paid for her college. No one helped her. No one advised her. She had to deal with the Board of Health herself, get all the permits, take the Food Safe course and so on. She learned by trial and error and it paved the way for all her future success. And she made alot of mistakes. So did I. When I started my business I never expected to encounter official government corruption, smallness, meaness, jealousy, anger and so on. But that's just one more hurdle you have to overcome. On the other hand, graduate school does a great job of teaching you to be an entrepreneur and build an organization with a long term trajectory. The problem is, you go to grad school AFTER college. If you look at the courses for getting an MBA you will see that many of them apply directly to starting and building a major start-up enterprise, like a software company. In my opinion, people who believe they are entrepreneurs should START RIGHT NOW and go to college part time. College is important because it exposes you to ideas and subjects that spark creativity. Grad school is important because it focuses on the specifics of maintaining a real business with a real exit strategy, no matter what it is - buyout, IPO, ongoing sales, liquidation, bankruptcy, all of it. Experience is a hard teacher, but when you are an entrepreneur you will learn more from starting a business than from any school trying to tell you how to do it. As the saying goes, "wisdom allows us to avoid making mistakes, but we get wisdom by making mistakes." Henry Ford once said, "If you aren't bankrupt at least once by the time you are 25 then you aren't really trying." He realized that failure is almost always a meaningless concept, especially when you are young, and oftentimes, it's a great way to learn.
