Personally, I use Coinbase.Despite the divided opinion on CB in the crypto community, they’ve been consistent and trustworthy for a long time now.They were one of the first crypto exchanges to hire a decent number of additional staff to improve the quality and overall performance of the end-user support. This, in turn, reflects in much faster support query responses, much quicker account and bank verification, and positive experience as the result.Also, their exchange rates are very competitive and you can usually buy bitcoins within minutes from first-time registration.You can find the link in my profile here on Quora. It will give you and me $10 when you spend at least $100 in one go.HOW TO USE COINBASE WITHOUT PAYING ANY COMMISSION OR TRANSACTION FEESAs a side note, I will also share a way (that not too many people are aware of) how to buy either BTC, ETH, BCH or LTC without paying a penny toward platform’s commission and fiat processing/transaction fee for all purchases which makes life much easier and enables one to greater purchasing power that compounds over a longer period of time.By registering with Coinbase, you’re automatically registered with GDAX. The latter is Coinbase’s own trading platform where you can do a bit of crypto trading.Now, whilst I’m not a fan of GDAX at all due to the poor volume, volatility and limited TA charting options within the platform, I do use it to purchase my Bitcoins.Here’s how to do it for free:Register with CoinbaseProvide and verify your bank accountOnce all is verified, you can deposit any amount within your limit straight to your fiat wallet on Coinbase which doesn’t trigger any fees on the platform side (but you might be charged within your bank for the international transfer - it’s best to check upfront and if you are, you could talk to your bank to change it or switch to another bank that provides int. transfer at no cost)This will usually take up to 3 business days for your funds to arrive However, for me - and I live in London, UK, it usually takes about 2–4 hours and the funds are available the same day.Log into your GDAX account and transfer your fiat money from Coinbase to GDAX. You can do so by going to the deposit section within the trading platform and then specify what Coinbase wallet you want to use for the deposit. Pick your fiat wallet and transfer your required amount.Once you have your fiat funds available on GDAX, you can now place Limit Orders to buy BTC, ETH, BCH or LTC. You specify the amount of coins you want to buy and at what price. Once the order is filled, you get to enjoy your coins with no transaction and commission fees deducted from your fiat/coin amount as it would have been the case if you purchased them within Coinbase.Rinse & repeat.That’s because when you place a limit order at any price (whether you want to buy or sell your coins), you automatically improve the liquidity of the exchange by allowing your funds to accomodate all counter trades within your supply ability that match your price in advance.Nothing happens if you cancel your orders before they’re filled.By placing limit orders you act as a market maker and you’re rewarded for doing so with paying absolutely nothing for transacting within the platform.Alternatively, if you were to purchase BTC straight at Coinbase, you’d be doing it as a market taker. You then remove the liquidity because you buy your cryptos at the market price, and then you’re required to pay the takers fee + commission.Once your coins are purchased at no cost, you can then transfer them out to your other wallets outside GDAX and Coinbase for the current bitcoin network fee, but still without paying anything to CB or GDAX.Even though it’s usually a few dollars here or there when you buy at the market price and therefore as the market taker, it does add up to sometimes enormous figures over time, especially if you purchase your cryptos regularly.For example, throughout the whole 2017, I carried out just over 100 transactions within GDAX for free to purchase my BTC. The majority of those were within modest amounts that would have costed me £3–£5 for each.However, I’ve also had a few that would have otherwise escalated to more than £100 per one. They are also aware that signing up through social media may be a much speedier process which is always an attraction and, even better for you, it often allows you access to certain parts of their profile and details so can be an excellent source of invaluable data.Progressive disclosure - Instead of displaying the whole form on the first page, Airbnb uses progressive disclosure, only opening up the full form once the user clicks on “Sign up with Email” which keeps things clean, simple and doesn’t intimidate the user as they are being slowly introduced into the sign-up process.Column layout - There is just one column with each field listed one underneath the other. Again, this keeps it really clean and simple with ample space to fill out the fields.Icons used inside the fields - The icons bring a nice design element to it and also just add that extra ease of comprehension - you see the mail icon and you know that’s where your email address goes. The easier to understand quickly, the more likely it is that people will convert (this is because of Cognitive Ease).Password strength validation - This is always a reassuring tool to provide your customers. Security online (or lack thereof) can be a big factor in putting people off following through with a sign-up or purchase and so lending them this helping hand to show them how strong their password is will give a sense of safety and satisfaction.Overall field validation - When a field has been successfully completed, it is highlighted with a green outline to validate this clearly. It’s a nice way of giving the customer a sense of completion and closure for each step and letting them see their progress - this type of positive reinforcement can be useful in encouraging people to see through the sign-up process until the end.Clear indication of errors - Equally, it’s important to clearly notify customers when there is an issue with one of their completed fields. There’s nothing more frustrating than spending time filling out a form only for it to refuse to submit but with no clear identification of where the error is. I’ve had too many to count. Working at customer service at Walmart you will see just about anything. I’ll give you a few.• A woman comes up with a bag of what appears to be red mud. She plops it on my counter with a wet sploosh. The customer shoved a receipt in my face while explaining she needs to exchange her dress for a new one. She’d only gotten to wear it to church once before she tripped and landed in a mud puddle.I blinked before prodding the muddy dress in the bag. I took a deep breath before explaining, as nicely as I could, that clothing exchanges just don’t work that way. The only way we could exchange or refund an article of clothing was if there was a factory defect or if the clothing was in new condition.The woman insisted that she had always exchanged her ‘stained’ clothing with us. I explained that after items left the store, they belonged to the customer, unless damaged by the manufacturer, or in new condition, and we did not exchange stained clothing. She blew up and went through two CSMs and a front end manager before grabbing her muddy dress and storming from the store.• A woman came in with a totally empty cake box and demanded another cake and her money back. The cake, she said, had been for her daughter’s birthday party and it had been stale and was disgusting. I asked her where the cake was and she huffed and rolled her eyes, telling me that it was a party and they HAD to eat it. I turned it over to the bakery manager. She took great pleasure in telling the customer she had to have at least a bit of the cake to do anything.• A man came in with a swimming pool that he claimed was two years old because grass had grown through the liner. I warned her someone would get fired over this transaction and it would not be me. True to my words, I was called into the store manager’s office and told to explain myself. I explained that the whole thing was the CSM’s fault and she was fired.• A lady brought in an opened DVD and wanted her money back. Copyright law prohibits this. We can exchange for the exact same title but no refunds or title swaps. I told her I was sorry and explained the law. She goes into a full blown rant because she wanted the same movie she saw in the theater but this one was modified.I asked the customer what she was talking about and she tells me it says it’s been modified right at the beginning of the movie and she wanted the same one from the theater, not some modified crap. Obviously, she was talking about the screen that tells you the film has been modified to fit your tv screen. I asked her if she had watched the movie. No. She hadn’t wanted to bother since she knew it wasn’t what she wanted. I explained the modification was only to the size of the film, not the content. She gives me this blank stare and tells me not to blow smoke up her butt. Okay. I try again. Telling her to just take the movie home and watch it, promising that it’s the same movie.The customer became so upset that I had to call in both a CSM and the Electronics manager. They pulled her aside and tried to explain things to her with no success. The customer threw the DVD at us and stormed off.• A customer came in with a desktop computer to exchange. I asked him what was wrong with it and he told me it was an oversized paper weight. He said it did nothing and would not even turn on. I pulled it out of the box, plugged it up, hit the power button, and it immediately started booting up. The guy gapes at me for a moment before asking what I did. I told him I had plugged it in and pushed the power button. He said he hadn’t realized there was a power button. We packed it back up and he took it back home.

You already have my sex, race, and veteran status. Why ask in five different spots?When the form says you’ll hear back in five to seven business days. That’s a full week. I need a job as soon as possible! Don’t you want to hire people? Isn’t that why we’re doing this?When an application tells you it wants a recent college graduate with five years of experience in management, a business degree with a liberal arts minor, two years of medical residency, ten years of pest control receptionist experience, and proficiency in signNow Creative Suite plus juggling skills. Who is this job even for? How in the world do you expect to find someone who meets all of these requirements? Why would someone devote their life to getting experience in menial, underpaid work just to one day be your dream candidate?I didn’t make up the pest control thing, by the way. This pest control place wouldn’t even hire someone as a receptionist unless that person had been working for a different pest control place previously. NO exceptions. Sorry to burst your bubble, but people don’t dedicate their lives to getting enough experience in pest control reception to come meet your requirements and make $12 an hour. Dream on.
