You have a choice between traveling light (can be expensive) and bringing everything necessary (cumbersome). You will find your sweet spot.Let’s break down what this means for each:Do you plan to only use your car or also indulge in the occasional campground or hostel?Bring money for hostels. This is anywhere from $30 to $100 per night.Get a sleeping bag and something for a mattress. Inflatable ones are great.Casual clothing needs to explanation. Other wear depends on the type of activity you intend to pursue.If hiking or walking long distances, consider a good pair of hiking shoes/boots.Durable, functional clothing for various conditions. Worst case the form is available at the courthouse where your hearing is set to be heard in, typically at the appropriate clerk's window, which may vary, so ask any of the clerk's when you get there.You only have so many days to respond, and it will specify in the paperwork.You will also have to appear in court on the date your hearing is scheduled.Most courts have a department that will help you respond to forms at no cost.
