hi i'm gary lesser and it's my great honor to be the president of our florida bar i'd like to take a minute or two of your time and tell you about some very important work we're doing at the florida bar this bar year the florida bar is focusing on mentoring surveys and other information make very clear that we need a strong mentoring program other state bars have mentoring programs and we're designing a mentoring program right now so it can be the best mentoring program in the country we're focusing on lawyers with three or less years experience in firms of three or fewer lawyers many of them are graduating from law school without a formal job or position and aren't getting the type of mentoring opportunities that some of us have taken for granted it's going to be a great curriculum talking about ethics and professionalism substantive law the path of your career and that information will be published by the folk committee later this calendar year be on the lookout for it we need the su
