we'll go ahead and get started we have our distinguished speaker here with us today dr dan vasgard so dr vasquez is the director of the office of research integrity and compliance and he's been with us now for about four years and prior to coming here he was the officer for responsible conduct of research at columbia university and also at the central university of new york and he also was the chair of the irb of the new york city health department so he's had a very long distinguished career prior to coming here and he has presented a lot and published a lot in the area of research uh integrity and responsible conduct of research and his overall responsibility as the director uh the program director for this core is to one uh create a environment of research integrity and responsible conduct of research throughout the ctsi as well as work with our other partner institutions down in charleston charleston area medical center wvu campus as well as the austria west virginia university of
