[Music] when I'm starting a new group of parents I think about the area I have a look about what are the needs in the area and what sort of parents I might be engaging with and then I put up a Facebook post I usually make a Facebook page Facebook is a really powerful tool with parents at the moment so I find most of our parents find out about it by Facebook and then once we start getting parents coming along engaging getting a feel for it they then go to their friends and say hey I've got a really cool playgroup can you come and then we get it by word-of-mouth so when we're looking for a an area to start a supportive playgroup in we scope areas first we take into consideration what services are already in that area we also try and find somewhere where families don't necessarily have to drive to a lot of our families don't have vehicles so we want somewhere central where families can walk or catch a bus we have peer workers who work alongside us in now in three different age groups that
