[Music] in this episode of permit pro tips we're going to discuss contractor registration it is very frustrating when you're ready to pull a permit with a particular city and the permit clerk tells you the contractor is not registered with that city or they have it expired documents each year these documents need to be updated with each city the contractor pulls permits from a lot of cities have their own contractor registration form that needs to be signed and notarized for the qualifier to be registered we suggest that contractors update their registrations once a year with all the cities they do business with these updated documents include liability insurance certificate with each particular city as the certificate holder workers compensation certificate or exemption state or local licensed business tax receipt and qualifiers driver's license
