[Music] today we're going to learn how to apply a modifier in therapy notes we'll be covering several different ways to apply modifiers automatically as well as how to add a modifier manually first we're going to cover how to add a modifier so that it's automatically applied when a specific clinician builds a specific insurance payer to start click staff then the clinician's name and their billing tab under their billing tab click anywhere within the clinician billing setting override section next select the pair you would like the override to apply to this can be one specific payer or for all payers if no specific payer is selected after that you can add the modifiers you want to include with the default modifiers fields once you click save changes the modifiers you added will be included whenever claims are sent from the selected clinician to the selected payer if you'd like to have a modifier included when a specific service code is billed go to the user icon click settings then sel
