(gentle music) Hello, I am Dr. Wendy Grant. I am the associate dean for Admissions and Student Affairs at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine. Our main educational building, besides the hospitals and clinics, is the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education. This building was completed in 2008 and includes classrooms, small group rooms, lecture halls, and a simulation center. On the first floor is a simulation lab, which is an 8,000 square foot facility that has 16 simulated physician office rooms that are fully equipped, two functioning hospital rooms, and an operating room. We have high fidelity simulators which augment your learning in the clinical environment. In 2020, the Davis Global Center opened, which offers a large array of high technology learning tools, including 3D and virtual reality, anatomy dissection rooms, mock operating suites, and advanced simulation.
