[Music] all right thank you so I greatly appreciate the chance to talk about two of my most favorite topics part of the reason like giving this talk is because these are extremely common problems so unlike some of the things we see in orthopedics that is relevant pretty much only when patients see us knee arthritis and meniscus tears are the most common things that everybody sees whether its family members friends patients loved ones it's extremely common and the other reason I love giving this talk is because there actually is some evidence for a variety of the things that we're going to talk about most of the time when we talked about orthopedics there's some limited evidence it's usually level 4 level 5 evidence for meniscus tears and arthritis we actually have a lot of good evidence for many of the different treatment options that we have unfortunately a lot of the treatment options that we have support not sending your patient necessarily to orthopedic surgery especially if it's b
